not trying to take sides, it would be ridiculous to do so, not personally being involved. All involved were amazing artists and the loss of jhon and peter is a HUGE loss to the artistic community in general.

@sweeterthananything so were they the" three piggies" from all pigs must die? i dont claim to be an authority on the matter, And frankly if I was to make a list DI6 and coil would be neck and neck at the top. not as big a fan of current though. what I do know is douglas was ripped off by world serpant, as were other bands and the courts saw it that way. at the end of the day you have a bunch of strong talented people thrown together, theres bound to be problems.

@drplbiftin well, david tibet used to run world serpant distro and he basically was ripping off the bands on his label. douglas p. of dij sued him and most bands on his label quit. the guys from coil took david tibets side although at the time they werent on his label. dij made a whole album about the subject called" all pigs must die"

@dynamis23 World Serpent was started by David Gibson, Alan Trench and Alison Webster with assistance from Douglas P. David Tibet only ran Dutro (which WSD distributed along with Threshold House until its demise). While I know he was involved in the legal case to the detriment of Douglas, no one sued David Tibet as far as I know and people were distancing themselves from Douglas prior to his legal issues with WSD. After Jhonn died, Douglas posted a really nasty screed about him to the DIJ list.

@thealphapigeon Peter himself had no personal clashes with DI6 or douglas, however Jhon Balance, and Current 93 did, and its a long sticky situation. However, its in the past, DI6 is still amazing, and Peters passing is awful. While they may have personal differences, neither should be dismissed over personal matters that dont involve the fans.
