I don't think they've ever come to our country, either, genius. I think the idea that alien creatures would waste innumerable resources to design craft to cross the cosmos and break the laws of physics JUST to visit us is ridiculous, I belief in alien life, just not that they're visiting. As for why it's so popular in the west? Cultural differences, a lot of people are more open about the unusual here.

If you don't understand the significance of the discovery of this bacteria, allow me to explain. The entire scientific basis for how life is formed WAS based on the theory that H20, O2 and sunlight were prerequisites for ANY life form to sustain existence. The basis for these tests is to find other Earth like planets in space. Then they look at the chemical composition of the planets, water, gas, whatever is needed for habitable conditions. Then hypotheses are made about whether humans could live there. NOT Star Trek type aliens in space.

Thats why you see kids that are different get picked on growing up and in fact I joined in not knowing what a complete asshole I was or at least I didn't care at the time.
