fantastic! So glad to have found this video...just got a piano after 15 years of not having one, pretty rusty but I really wanted to learn some Norah Jones...love the bluesy feel of it! Makes it a lot easier to learn when someone can talk you through it like you do...thanks!
Pure awesomeness... I got goosebumps when you played it. I had tears running down my face when you started singing. Wish I could play like you... in like 10 years...
I just wanted to say thanks. I've never had a lesson and I can play this (not as well as you, but well enough that it sounds like a piece) and It gives me the greatest sense of calm to be able to play it, and it was due to your tutorial that I learned. THanks so much.
yeah! i love the colour of the carpet under the piano aswell, it brings ambience to the room. i think i might get my room painted that colour. i think the colour is pinkara, or sandfly point. il have to google it. lol (sarcasim sarcasim)
This is great. I like how you put the animated keyboard above which actually highlights the keys being played, coz often on most tutorials you cant reallly see which keys are being played coz of poor lighting & camera angles, hands getting in the way. etc. Thanks... nice voice btw :).
@elecdon Its the chords, like he says in the description. Duh. If you're an accomplished pianist all you need is the chords and you can embellish the rest to make it sound just like the song.
Awesome job! thanks to you I could learn my very first piano song, a year ago, but now that I got more skills and more knowledge bout how music works, I need to now in what key is this version of Don't know why, I'd be very grateful if you tell me. Keep uploading videos! cos they help people a lot!
YOU are super good. could you please give us a lesson to play black horse and the cherry tree by kt tunstall with jazz sound if its not too much trouuble? would be great!
@ang00sE - i've been told by some of my teachers that transcribing from a cd is the best way to get REALLY good really fast because you have to really listen to the music and copy how it sounds... not just play the notes.
wow i hope to be as good as you one day and you have a beautiful voice too. do you know a web site were i can get free sheet music? i would love to near how to read music.
WOW!!! u are amazingg! i would if u could put up sheet music for this, (ur version) for people to learn. I would REALLY appreciate it... and i know other people would too.Thankyouu. Awesum singing too!
Wow! amazing! You don't know how much I appreciate you uploading your videos, not only do you play beautifully, you're kind enough to take your time and upload this video for the sake of teaching. Thank you sooooooo much! Arigato!
I really like blues in the key of F, Bb is fun too. Its just how your fingers fall over the black notes that can make it more fun than other keys.
This song was tricky, the verse melody is a little low for my voice, and the chorus is a little high, but its the original key so that might help people learn it better.
Awesome work, I know everything you explain in the video but the "my heart is drenched in wine.." part is missing so, I was wondering if you could make a second part showing the "drenched in wine.... forever" part. Thank you anyway
Great stuff! I never thought I could get those sounds out of my own hands but after watching this and a little practice I'm getting it. What about the chorus? I could probably figure it out by pausing but there seems to be a lot of changes. Anyone have links to the chorus?
Very nice , Thanks Chris! Your videos are very useful and lately with the keyboard on top they are even better. Keep it up and congratulations because you are improving as well. Cheers!
i hate you.
you make it looks so easy o_0

Nice to see your 'version'. Is Bb you fave blues-tonic? (Why?)
I know the original is in Bb, too.
MarcelP1990 2 years ago
I really like blues in the key of F, Bb is fun too. Its just how your fingers fall over the black notes that can make it more fun than other keys.
This song was tricky, the verse melody is a little low for my voice, and the chorus is a little high, but its the original key so that might help people learn it better.
Thanks!
