I would call this "folk music".

But it's greatly influenced by western film music as well. It's the kind of thing John Williams would write after doing some basic research on Nordic folk music.

The piece is in 6/8 time - common for Northern european music (including Scotland and Ireland!)

Yeahhh, it's one of my favorites! It broke down 4 times on us today; including a damaged boat. I can't see this ride lasting the season without serious repairs, the rides half missing, scenery's gone in places, lightings almost all gone, toher than natural light and the emergency lights when it breaks down, plus almost all, if not ALL the effects are gone.

Thats a lie! All the effects are still in the ride however it is just very rare seeing them all in oporation at once. You are right though, this ride does break down too much!

Unfortunatly it isn't a lie, it was poor luck.. I shall explain. The ride had broken down by a censor on the front of one of the cars tripping out on the turn table at the top, forcing the operators to remove the boat.. This then led to a restart and all the lighting and effects left off for the duration of the ride I had. I have since ridden it and seen the effects in motion once again :)
