Federer had some forehand management problems in the Basel Final. Occasionally in the smaller tournaments that Federer plays in, one of his strokes will break down slightly like it did in the Basel 09 final.

I remember one forehand he hit as an approach attempt that never reached the height of the net; just to show how much Federer wasn't himself that day.

murray read the damn book by nadal on how to beat roger: hit everything to his backhand. murray plays an awfully frustrating backboard game against federer while djokovic tries to outmuscle federer. that's why on their final 3 encounters murray was also able to beat djokovic.

a typical us open for roger, total control the entire tournament (except for the andreev match, but the guy put up a tough fight). good to see djokovic with a smile on his face, such good attitude in spite of that situation with roddick and the crowd. good emotion from roger too, it's awesome when you see his rush of emotion
