The only thing that REALLY dictates the price of anything is how useful anything is, and as gold doesn't seem really useful besides using it as bling bling (which is totally useless if you ask me) it's not really worth much.
Others might think it actually is valuable because they are told so, I know it has no value as you can't really use it for anything practical.

I've read about 80 of the comments for this video and comments from other videos. Yeah, I spend lots of time on "the tube." One thing they all have in common is that NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO SPELL! I know that shorthand is easier, but sooner or later it becomes part of your regular writing style and, much worse, part of your speech. Alex's converter box is different then the one in the video in question. Whether the guy modified the circuitry in his I dont know. Alex's box, hehe, has yellow tape around the yellow thing. That dude's has black tape around the yellow thing and a white (mic) apparently. The mic area on Alex's converter box is black. Not saying it isn't a hoax, but the boxes are different. I think the guy modified his shitty converter box.

umm most laptops come with a built in webcam and mic,they don't have to spy to see what you buy because the internet and supermarkets do it plenty.thats one of the main reasons they use "savings cards" in stores they keep an account of the card and will print coupons for things you buy.
