oh and I would FOR SURE count the weight you lost before surgery. A Loss is a loss!! I would prob always point out that it was before surgery but I would be proud of it and ALWAYS count it!
Congrats on the 3.5 this week...You look so much better than I did at 2 weeks post op ,so I know you're doing well. You can still enjoy those foods ,but just tweak them a bit. I've started to bake things to get them crispy and it does the trick.
I went into this thinking the weight would just fall off every week and it's just not the case every time.Just keep working at it and it will happen.
Please check with your surgeon about starting your exercise at the gym. You don't want to start too early. Congrats on your lose... keep up the great work. YES, wait as long as possible for clothes shopping. Although it is nice to buy a pair of pants and 2 weeks later they are too big!
I have a favor to ask, please turn the music down, I had trouble hearing you with the background music.
Good Luck and looking forward to watching your progress!
Great job Carlos 3.5 is a great loss for a week. Have you had any "head hunger"? That's what Im afraid I will have once I'm post op. Keep up the great work and see ya soon!! Viv
Not really..I mean Now I eat and know I dont need to get full to be satrisfied. I meassure my portions well and know I will not have the urge for seconds. I sometimes have to push myself to eat... Is a whole new beginning I tell you. Best decision I have made.
I am glad you are on to soft foods, yay! Good job on your weightloss, so far. I think that you should count all of the weight that you loss pre op. You earned it. :-D
congratulations on the 3.5lb loss. Its ok not to lose a lot of weight so fast,ur body will thank you in the long run because the elasticity in your skin will go back better if you gradually lose the mass. Congrats on the soft food upgrade,I'm sure your happy.
As far as clothes, its that time of year that sweats are in. Get a pair of draw string and weat them till you can't any longer that way you won't worry about them fitting.
Congrats on your loss this week. My favorite jeans are starting to fall off of me too. Maybe thrift stores might be a good option for you or start keeping your eye open for sales. Good luck!
Hey Carlos. Great job. You need to include all the weight you lose!! Just give a total and then you can break it out pre-op / post-op if you want. You lost it... you earned it! Tom
