Oh my bad, the PicoScan is actually 1999 Euros, which is $2800. So both the systems you listed are more expensive than the one I was referring to. -_-
HAH oh the PicoScan system with a "pico" price of $1999? Or the HDI scanner than I just requested a quote from and is $8999? No those aren't "lowly" priced at all. And David Laser Scanner is pretty cool but it's not commercial. I'm talking comercial, within-hobbyist-price-range systems.
@Krb68691 not really, check out the HDI scanner and PicoScan systems. Both are really lowly priced. Also have a look at the David Scanner system and Triangles 3d scanner.
Oh come on? You don't know what to do with this????
Allow me:
1. You make the software available on a Mac Only platform.
2. You make sure you can attach and blend various scans as well as import other files such as solids and surfaces and perhaps even jpegs.
3. You makes sure all the data is editable.
4. You make sure the data is scalable.
5. You make sure the data exports to G-code.
6. You make sure the cost is below David-Scanner.
7. Send me a check for being so kind! ;-)

you should turn it in to a facial scanning lock on your computer so only you can access it.

10 years later and the only commercial 3d scanner is still $2500

@Krb68691 Commercial, yes. Only? No. Google DAVID Laserscanner.
