@paintbasstard No, actually I'm not. See, yeah there are songs like Beverly Hills, Dope Nose, Hash Pipe, & Trippin Down the Freeway, but there's also many more songs that are just as personal and relatable as In the Garage. People just don't give these songs the chance they deserve.

Songs like Dreamin', Heart Songs (both Red), The Other Way (Make Believe) , Burndt Jamb (Malodroit), Glorious Day (Green), Smart Girls, & Represent (Hurley) all go against the grain of your radio friendly lyrics.

@paintbasstard The songs I listed were all ripped to shreds by critics, but these are the same critics that claimed Surf Wax America was a Beach Boys ripoff, and Butterfly was completely silly for being over-dramatic, and that Why Bother was just a song about jerking off. You simply can't listen to the critics, and you must listen to Weezer's music for yourself, and REALLY give them a chance. I've found many songs that I didn't like at first grow on me until they were one of my favorites.
