The issue I have with a government run health care is I do not trust that they will do a good job with it, the DMV for instance is hell. I just don't want something like my wellness being in the hands of the government when it take 3 hours to renew my license.

Lets five a small example of socialism...Medicaid is one. This service gives low income families with health insurance but how effective is it? A lot of doctors do not accept it especially for complex surgery. Now if socialism where to pass it would be like in Europe where you can only go to doctors in your area. If there are long lines well you will just have to wait 6 months. If you need a doctor that could take years.
History wants to repeat itself once again, I guess people will never learn from others mistakes. Socialism has never worked will never work. This is the reason we have people from all over the world that come here for their medical needs. The issue I have with a government run health care is I do not trust that they will do a good job with it, the DMV for instance is hell. I just don't want something like my wellness being in the hands of the government when it take 3 hours to renew my license.

Lets five a small example of socialism...Medicaid is one. This service gives low income families with health insurance but how effective is it? A lot of doctors do not accept it especially for complex surgery. Now if socialism where to pass it would be like in Europe where you can only go to doctors in your area. If there are long lines well you will just have to wait 6 months. If you need a doctor that could take years.

Insurance prices will go up exponentially if HealthCare reform is not passed for many reasons. One key reason if not passed is that Americans would have in effect declared that their health is not as valuable as the insurance . And that fact will cause the value of insurance to be worth more than a life. So in the end the value of life will decrease including the will for cures as the value and the legitimacy of HealthInsurance increase. Insurance companies will be given lordship over Americans

there is no government take over. the public option takes on the monopoly of about 7 corporate insurance co.'s. the typical problem is, these companies put profits above the better good of their fellow americans. you know it's true. 18,000 people will die this year because after expensive trips to emergency rooms, they will get no follow up care that is crucial to their getting better. state budgets are strapped and are simply out of money to cover the sick.

What will happen with something that's over 1000 pages or more, and will be ONE SEVENTH of the economy?

Get healthcare for free like me! If you do not work for the government or your spouse, then just cancel it for sure. (Under most cases) Me and my 4 children and wife just flex enough money and if something big were to happen then just file bankrupt every 5 years. Not to mention you can add up other bills that will be partially paid for on top of those bills and hospitals cannot deny you for 99% of main things. Health care is a joke. Let other people pay instead of you people!
