One of the best, powerful and downright moving films I've ever seen! The country is goddamn gorgeous and its sad for all of the shit that continues to happen there.

The movie was made during the ceasefire in 2006 Israel attack on Lebanon and EVERYTHING, the devastation, the bombs in the background, what the people are saying about their situation, is all REAL.
A devastating movie to watch, innocent children under rubble, normal civilians sobbing weeping wailing in pain and terror. Powerful movie. I highly recommend this film.
Hopefully this movie doesn't demonize Israel because the real enemy to the ppl of Lebanon is Hezbollah. How can you blame Israel for defending themselves when those jackasses were firing Katushya rockets into Israel daily hoping to kill civilians?
The movie doesn't try to demonise anyone. It focuses on this woman and her journey to find her son. It's powerful in part because it stays away from subjects such as politics and religion, and shows the much more important aspect of war.

I loved the fact that it does not take sides between politics, revenge, religious or economical reasons for any conflict. It is the story of a mother who wants her child back.
There are NO EXCUSE for civilians, women or kids killed in the world. PERIOD.
