Hello, first saw the Rev at Emo's in Austin Texis in 1993 on my brother's birthday. I have seen them since in Tucson twice, both times at Club Congress...once with my boyfriend who is a talented musician... I dragged him to the show becuase he was skeptical... after the first few songs the guy was up front with his mouthopen. Some time later he looks at me and says, "that guy is a f**king monster guitar player!!!" I nodded, yes, that's right!!! I've also seen them twice in Seattle

1st show I ever saw in Deep Ellum at Trees in Dallas: They'd open the door on Elm in the summer & you could stand & watch the shows. Didn't know them then, but the Rev starts soloing, and hops out onto the street continuing the solo. His guitar cord must've been 100 feet long, cuz he walked down the street, jumping on top of cars, where he did a roll from the roof onto the hood & onto the street and finally went into an Angus Young spin. NEVER MISSED A NOTE, NEVER LOST HIS COWBOY HAT. Legend.
