This movie is so unappreciated. Why did it have such blah reviews? I liked Ralph much better in this than in the English Patient. The English Patient was okay but way too melodramatic and over the top. Although it is Pushkin, and the characters have more depth and seem more human than Ondaatje - imo.
This movie is a gem, and Ralph Fiennes is wonderful!
