If you're upgrading from XP then you'll have to do a clean install as mentioned in the video. The same thing if you're at, for an example 32 bit vista and wanna upgrade to 64 bit 7, you gonna to do the same thing.
Hi ,congratulation for the video, but I would tell you if there is the sticker of windows 7 with the stiker of license key in the upgrade box.Thank you for the answer,Hi Andrea
I had my hopes up then, I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit and I have bought Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and i thought you couldn't install it because you will need Home Premium or Ultimate, and it said on the site that for upgrade edition you cannot do a clean install, had me all worried
You can make a fresh install with the upgrade version. Don´t type the product key during install because you have to do a little "workaround" after the install. After the "workaround" you can type the product key and activate Windows. Take a look at Windows SuperSite website for more info.
what would possible come with 128 bit os dude 64bit is basicly for better speced machines which im sure you no so answer that for me what would come new
its the professinoal version, but you have to select it, its not too obvious where but it says somewhere that if you require somesort of networking feature exclusive to pro, u will need that, so make sure u look for that.
Eityherr way, isn't the key stsill valid say if you some how obtain Windows 7 professional media that is not the upgrade disk (IE: Using an OEM disk for example?)
IIRC, the work around with upgrade install with vista was to install it twice.
who the fuck buys retail? oem ftw. i personally like the DVD case packaging... i can throw it in my desk without it hogging up space

TheAuchamp1 1 year ago
@vybzshakur The upgrade will allow you to do a fresh install. There is no need for the :"vista is better than windows 7 "full" version of Windows 7

can any1 tell me version of final windows 7 from msinfo32?
vedadharacic 2 years ago
No but you can do a clean install from within the os, and the upgrade disk will activate, IE no paid previous version of windows is needed.
This is not true when installing from a raw hard drive.
