I'm a huge fan of RTS and I got the controls down very easily and this has to be one of the shittiest video games I've ever played, if not the worst. Its only saving grace was that the main character was a badass and a couple of the female characters were decent-looking. Other than that, the gameplay fails, the UI fails, the pathing fails, the story fails, etc. etc.

@TheGammajamma CoD 4 shaked the world with mp, its mp is still better than many newer games have(including black ops and mw2) and Mw2 and mw1 had epic singleplayer. Especially MW1s singleplayer was fucking awesome. So i wouldnt say CoD hs gone downhill after CoD 2.

@DeatgMagnet No, Call of Duty is not to be credited with "shaking the world with mp" maybe for kids who weren't around but Counterstrike is definitely what brought FPS to glory. Good single player FPS are not hard to come by either, most games have a storyline to them and to say that their single player epics is already hinting that you have not played many other FPS games.

CS had a proper strong pedigree gaming community with COD it seems every body plays it. Kids, adults, buisness men, mothers, teachers, people in prison. And that is ground breaking! But I'm not sure wether it's the game it'self or the readyness of online playability that Sony and Microsoft haver achieved. Probably a bit of both! It's snowballed i guess.

I agree. Although I think this is much better than End War (basically an RTS 'top-trumps'....my helicopter out guns your tank so I win etc), I think Stormrise's "whip" techniques is flawed. It works perfectly when you've only a few squads spaced far apart, but group them together in the heat of battle and you're fucked. Shame really, and I expected more from Creative Assembly.

halo wars wasnt made by bungie OR microsoft it was made AND produced by ensemble. Besides halo wars is easily one of the best RTS's out there due to how easy it is to get the hang off and theres no overpowered units, everything can be countered, unlike in the C&C series

Although you'll be better if you waste some time moving both the mecha and units to the same spot, you'll have less chances of getting owned that way.
