i have some questions: did the atc 200 not have an oil-filter? supposing it did, would it also work with a big red 250es? my aunt has a 3-wheeler at her farm and i'm trying to figure out what parts i need to bring, i think it's a 250es, i'm not positive. would you happen to know the spark plug? i heard ngk dr8es will work. and lastly, do you now the oil capacity? just don't want to bring a quart out there and not have enough

No oil filter on a 200, and the recomended spark plug is a NGK DR8-ES-L and it takes about a half quart to fill it up

@westkent56 nt trying to be a dick bt there is a oil filter bt not replacable theres a big ass spring loaded bolt on the bottom u pop that off oil comes spuing out and i recomended to let it soak for an hour 2

I have a 1983 honda big red 200 E and i was riding one day and it just like popped then shut off i checked the spark plug, the valves, the gas to the carb, clead out the carb and made sure it had great compression but it wont start does anyone know how to check the timming? HOW DO U CHECK THE TIMING?

near the flywheel there should be a peephole you can look htrough (you have to take the screw out first) and you find the timing mark and then you have to align the timing mark on the cam sprocket with the mark on the head

ur like me! lol i got two trikes a 83 200es and.. 84 shaft drive with reverse, out of the two the shaft has alot more torque. im currently rebuilding both engines.... made a custom exhaust for the 84 its basicly just a can made out of 3 inch muffler pipe but caped and comes out to 1 1/2 inch tubing it has a nice crack to it. lol fucking loud tho and its a heat bag for the cops. but try it out if ur just messin around in feilds

I cant do that with mine it has too nobbie tires on it and im making it a quad its not gonna have any suspension tho cus the quad im using for the front end sucks lol but its gonna be cool

well, i got lucky because theres a muffler shop near that had some, but realy its not hard to find,DG and cobra makes aftermarket exhaust's for 3-wheelers
