This movie has plauged me for years. I loved the first movie and found quite charming. This movie however is something different. I loved the soundtrack and the use of Wagner, especially during the opening. This movie suffered dearly for the lack of creativity and disregard for the previous facts established in the first film. They put so much production into it but it still made me say what the hell happened ? I still like it for some reason but they could have been more mindful of the story .

Here's how "Highlander 2" should have been.

Once upon a time in the far distant past on Earth there existed a civilization of Immortals. This Immortal civilization was made up of Immortals who were trying to keep out of the Game, to resist the urge to take each others' heads for the Prize.

However, there were some Immortals, like General Katana and his henchmen, who would go rogue, and start going on headhunts. Katana was eventually subdued, imprisoned, and found guilty for his crimes.

@omaifakingad New immortals arrive, so Connor regains his immortality and has to defend the Prize. He uses the Quickening to revive Ramirez. Sure, it's a little convenient, but no more so than the silly "three men trapped in a cave" gimmick in the next film, and at least the concept here would have allowed for more sequels.
