@robotfroggyhead10 actually, check that. The plugith (or Nosferatus Sapien) doesn't eat it's victims, It uses it's tail/plug to shock the crap out of it's victim, which results in brain death.

Back when I was a kid, I used to think that if I took out the box on the lowest part of the closet in what used to be my big sister's bedroom, I'd find a trap door to a secret lab similar to this and also filled with dead people in jars. I'm guessing it was a subconscious thought because I sorta felt it, but never acknowledged it consciously. I'm guessing this is also why all the things I saw here were kinda deja vu. The box was filled with her dolls...

Great film, I always wondering why I had such a fear of Sandboxes, nice to see my fear justified! Anyway, love the design and animation style, the music just seals the deal.

So the movie basically goes like this, 3 kids (a Happy, Worried, and Normal) were playing in the sandbox and they ended up going into a lab. The Worried kid got shocked in the brain and if you look closely at the video, it said that if the prongs stab into the eyes, it will cause "brain death". So he's out of the picture. The Happy kid ends up flushing himself down the toilet (smart move) and ended up outside of the sewers at the credits scene. The Normal kid was the one who killed that monster.

Pause the video on 2:14 and the moments after that so you can read the data stuff that goes on the screen. The data reveals that that thing was called the "Nosferatus

Aapien", and its purpose was to exterminate an entire species (most likely humans, considering it is called "genocide" in the data")! There's a lot of information on it. Read that stuff if you want to really understand the story!
