  • this video is horrible if you are wearing headphones

  • thats really cool i like how u use ur index under the right lower set

  • man oh man how the projects keep rolling in!!! thank you for even MORE inspiration!! All of a sudden, my streetsweeper spokes that I pick up have a new life very soon!!!!!! yippeeeee

  • Ya me gustaba el piano de pulgar de Pablo, pero este.... este es la leche!!

  • Very nice composition. Nice mbira too. You talk about promyk6 on youtube but i can't find him. I would like to buy such mbira..

  • please try "pracowania promyk". be well!

  • @toubaboo

    I have made this mbira.

I invite you on my website: pracownia-promyk.pl

You can place an order on so or similar mbira ;)

  • @toubaboo Check mbira.org if you live in the USA

  • what an excellent sound, I don't understand the preference for the thick keys with a "crease" down the middle that the Shona mbiras often have, I much prefer this "thin key" sound. Of course its about the music, sound alone can be misleading (a "worse" sound is better for some music, like distortion) Never the less I myself could make music more readily with this sound with its long sustain and sharp treble edge. well played

  • This is awesome!

  • it sounds good

  • nice

  • Beautiful music and tone. Every mbira I've seen has a slightly different timbre, and yours is one of the really sweet sounding ones. I'll try to track the maker down. My guy here probably knows him. Nice work!

  • beautiful

  • do you have tabs for this song? its beautiful

  • hahah tabs.

  • im serious! im having trouble with the left handed part

  • That is so peaceful. Very relaxing.

  • This is absolutely amazing, I love it! You are so talented:)!

  • I LOVE this sound

  • OMG i need one this big i have a small one form america but its nothing compared to this, how much and where can i buy???

  • please find promyk6 on you tube.- he made all my mbiras.

  • This is one of the best songs I've heard in a while. I saw on your myspace that you're making a mbira album? Any idea when it's going to be coming out? I'd pay for it.

  • Geez, your mbira has such a sweet, full sound... Where did you get it? I dig what you're doing with the guitar effects, plugging other instruments into guitar effects is always gives such exciting sounds.....

  • A mbira improv in 7! Argh!!!! Seriously, I've seen all your vids and love what you are doing with the instrument, even the crazy stompbox tune is very cool. Do you have a cd or plan to record one? You are doing your own thing and I think many will enjoy it. I sure do. Peace

  • uff? thank u very very much Sardanza! its good to know that someone understand the construction and likes unregular meters:] at this time I'm plying solo performances for mbira, loopstation, and electronics, maybe ill show it on youtube. and slowly collecting pieces for mbira album. other activities on myspace/com/zakrocki

  • wonderful

  • Hi...nice composition..i have been a mbira player since i was 5 years old and now i am in my 30s and i like your style.

  • uahaaa!

  • Very pretty composition, nice mbira playing!

  • Too westernized. Spoiling the spirit of shona

  • thank u for this comment. yes. iam from europe so its my natural style:] this is a polyphonic instrument and iam using it on my way, with all respect for shona tradition.

  • No,this doesnt spoil the mashona spirit at all,its a wonderful tribute to the instrument created by them. Any truly great instrument eventually finds its way to other cultures, this happens as a result of love, not thievery or corruption, Please thank the friends of the Mashiona tradition, they are kind people.

  • like i have said on another video that someone commented on, scottish bagpipes are originally from india, and the traditional harmoniums from india and pakistan are from europe, you wouldn't tell them they are spoiling any spirits would you? music is music no matter where it comes from, who makes it, on what, or how.

  • thank u. yes, i agree. music is playin with the waves. id like to compose these abstract vibrations with all thrue. not to tryin to be someone else. feeling and listening! anyway thats great that we can admire for ex. traditional japan music or indian ragas - i mean universal beauty. be well larsonjeffp!

  • where did you get your mbira?

  • It's a very nice composition.
