  • yo just a quicke cdj400 or cdj800 wich would you say to get also do the cdj800's have a usb conection for the computer for use as a midi

  • so what is the difference between vinyl mode and cdj mode on modern pioneers?

  • how does it know when your hand is on the top of the platter

  • wat is de name of this song???? plz!!!

  • hey fella, ive the cdj 800`s mk 2 an pioneer djm 600 mixer, i see dj`s with laptops during their sets, why is this ? and are they worth investing? ta fella

  • Mostly they got some samples ready on their laptops.. they just load them into a midi controller so they can decide when they want to play the sample.

  • im getting them :) cannot wait!

  • Is that cdj 800mk2 better then cdj 800? I know that the mk2 plays mp3 file but whats the different?

  • The jogwheel is different then the mk1's

  • that is amazing but, i kinda think it sounds weird the spin back

  • Kudos! great vid

  • look at his face in the very begining (pause it)

  • HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! xDDD

  • hehehe he looks like he's high on crystal meth

  • pritty funny

  • dude thats the first thing i noticed lol! XD

  • Hello Johnathan, i was just wondering if the Gemini CDJ-505 has the same technology as this or is the platter on the CDJ-505 one piece and the top of the platter works the same as the side of the platter?

  • Why are they so expensive T_T

  • Does ellaskins get commission from pioneer ???

its been a while since ive been look for dis vis here .... very imformative !!

i ordered my cdj800mk2 with a crappy dm1050 mixer its all i can afford when customs gonna hit me 38% of the cost to bring it in

after watching so many vids from this guy an never touching a cdj table yet ( used the cdn88 and 90 ) i feel like i know what im doing !!

    tobago finest !!

  • Just to let Denon S3500 fans know ! :) i went into a guitar center near my block, was looking for some new denons s3500 cus i wanted the moving platter right ? well after i saw like 6 open box denons 3500 on the shelf i went pioneer ! got a pair of brand new cdj 800 mk2s

The biggest problem with the denons 3500 is they overheat alot witch cuases them mess the tempo bpm etc after that the platter fucks up

if you want somthing reliable go with Cdj 800 ! mk2 Pioneer standard for a real DJ!

  • does the cdj work with burned cds?

  • whats the difference between spinning the jog wheel in vinyl mode and not in vinyl mode? like if you want to cue a track in a certain point in a track in vinyl/non vinyl for the 800 mk2.

and also general mixing in and out of vinyl mode

    cheers

  • if you're looking for the cue point in non-vinyl mode you'll hear ticking sounds, so if i place it at the start of the beat there will be a repeated ticking sound. can create allot more precise cue points this way

  • well explained.. though the true art lays with vinyl.

  • So you just show the comments you like and delete the interesting ones HMMMM

  • you have a good presenter voice, cool vid!

  • nice video! i would like to know if there is a difference between a turntable and a CD-player?? i see some djs that use turntables and some use CD-players, is there any difference at all?

    thank you

  • to manolort007, to be honest these cdj's are about as close to vinyl tables as you can get for the price and size. You dont have the feel of a 12" vinyl record , but you do get to use the cd as though it is a piece of vinyl. thanks j

  • HaVe yOU Seen ThE Denon Dn-s3500s? They took the time to add on a spinning platter with slipmats and your also able to put your own 45 record on to have the extra vinyl feel on top of the platter. For around the same price as the 800s but just with more useful features and effects. =]

  • The Denon's are alright, but from experience...the effects aren't all that great and durability wise I've had friends that had numerous issues not long into the 3500's livespan.

  • you explain things so nicely lol. i tried that CDJ at the store its really cool

  • i take it that they are touch sensitive then or do u have to apply a certain amount of pressure or does the top circular bit move around like viynal?

  • to craigk2000, yes they are touch sensitive. j

  • u got the cdj's now u upgraded real high those decks are one of the best

  • I love my 800s

  • nice vid J might have to sell my car to buy some cd decks

  • your video's are always quality johnathan. is there any chance you can or have done any vids on budget cd decks? like numarks or something similar? sorry if you have already posted one but you have so many. peace dj styles

  • to bizzyfingers, i have usea a few dule dj cd players in some videos a while back, but i may do some tutorials soon, thanks j

  • thank you for the reply j. i know its off topic and you speak to alot of people but i told you a little while back my lass was due, she had the baby on the 10/7/7 little girl, grace over the moon man. cheers

  • nice one dude, now your worring realy starts!! LOL j

  • tell me about it, sleepless nights... dirty nappies... sick everywhere... but when your child looks into your eyes mate. its all worth it. peace dj styles

  • to bizzyfingers, my son didnt sleep all night till he was 3 1/2 then my daughter arived when he was 3 and she was the same till the age of 4! so not much good sleep for yrs!!! but yes they are the dogs doo, doo's!
