I feel so blessed to have not only had the opportunity to see Sampras win at Wimbledon in 1999 but to then meet him at the Hall of Fame in 2007...such a class act, humble, modest and gracious and so down to earth! To me he will always be the Greatest of All Time...
If he was in his prime playing with the current players he'd still be number one...his serve volley and attacking game would so frustrate the players of today!
@drwood04 - not sure you can say that! Federer has dominated the worse era in tennis, and gram slam wise hes won 2 more! Roger can basically waltz to a semi final without having to worry about it, there is no chance roger federer would have won all the titles he had in petes era! Agassi, courier, rafter, ivanesevic, kafelnikov, kuerten, moya, becker, henman (on grass), hewitt,... all of these were multiple grand slam winners, all of them were as good as murray/nadal, rog's era is very poor!
At 6:38 Pete shoulda lowered the boom on this moronic interviewer. WTF was this guy doin interviewing a legend like Pete Sampras. Pete as always a class act, I'm glad he's playing tennis again.
This is Class.

He's the #2 player of all time...behind Federer. That's cool that you got to meet him. I got to see his 2nd rd match at the 2002 US Open.

@MichyGW
That is incorrect grammar. It's "Tennis is not a great love of mine". Not only are you uninformed, you're stupid.

yeah, i mean they just have to have the attention that's why i admire sampras for being a quiet person yet honest and humble.
