  • Very stupid background music, which is so lifeless and even destroyed the atmosphere of the documentary. Could have been better with myanmar background music.

  • lynn dal , myanmar har ayn ko hla nay mar bar , kayzuutinpar dal byar

The music is very suiting too. 5* and Added to my favorites for sure :-} You did a great voice over job too. I hope to experience an authentic Thingyan Festival one day. Thank you for sharing Michael. Cheers, ~Mary

  • it sounds to be a real paradise Myanmar ! Everybody's happy ... i know the same world not far from Paris calls DisneyParis !!!

  • Actually, until 70's burma was one of the most properous nations in Asia. Some say that they were even better off than Japan. It has incredible culture and people. It's so sad that how it turned out to be cuz of a few selfish people.

  • How do you say "I miss you" in Burmese?

  • Lwan Tae

  • I hope that what is going on in Myanmar opens people's eyes to the fact that China is the world's biggest supplier of weapons and financing to prop up the bloodiest and most brutal regimes in the world for their access to resources. The 2008 Olympics and every product bought from there are all tainted with the blood of innocents from throughout the world such as Darfur where they support the Sudan government in their commission of the largest genocide taking place in the world today.

  • YO who agree mm is the best country in this world...

we have best culture in the world....OH yAE

  • I AGREE... :)

  • wow.. i remember when my sis. told me about the Thingyan.. i wanted to go so.. bad but i couldn't! i was too young.. lol. this video reminds of myanmar and they're foods.. lol.

  • Wow!This video is my fav! My last Thing Yan Fest was in 1988. I think I need to go back next year. Hmm...

  • makes me homesick..I miss Myanmar!!

  • very cool.not only in mandalay, even in yangon also only in this time.

  • Whether one likes it or not, "Politics" is something which touches everyone's way of life in any country. So, please look closer and search the people's hearts and desires when you visit Myanmar next time. I cannot ignore the people's troubles. Thank You.

  • This vedeo is excellent except for the actor in the bus ( Nyunt Win in red shirt. He is hated by most as a traitor to student activists). Mostly, We Burmese are very simple and honest.

  • Thank you. I was merely seeking a recognizable icon to represent Myanmar and I couldn't think of any other but him.

  • Plz keep the politic comments yourself. This video is just simply showing what our country and people actully look like.Nothing to do with any politics. And our country is one of the safest to travel still.

  • i hope this video will encourage more foreigners to visit Myanmar despite its oppressive military junta. I have traveled over 40 countries and Myanmar's people are the tops - so friendly and eager to speak with foreigners. And just a side note - the country was long since known as Myanmar. It was only under British rule when the term changed to Burma, so named for the majority ethnic group.

  • The work was nicely done. And thank you for your comment about us. I am glad to know that you enjoyed the visit when you were there.
