This is so fallacious.

You poke fun at the Bible comparing it to books that have no history backing them at all. e.g. harry potter.

The Bible has much history within it and hasn't been found to have any contradictions, to this point. If it ever arrives that it is found to have them, we will deal with that then, but it hasn't yet.

I can give you reasons to believe this is real history within this book.

I'm an opened minded Christian, and I say well done as far as your research. I'm eagerly waiting for your insight on how the Quran was also pieced together-sometimes from misquotes from the Bible. Religion is a means to control the masses and separate us from the truth. There is only one God Almighty, that we share no matter what creed we profess. im a former christian in search of the truth. Islam is looking better and better everyday. its been difficult stepping outside of the way i was raised here in the united states. Especially when i grew up in the "bible belt". Whats amazing is that i thought christianity was the good guys. Do you know how hard its been to ask the question, "what if were the bad guys?"

I have many friends who were brought up in the B-belt and that is something you need to get out of.

I would suggest you do your own research and NO , not necessarily through the internet but through books and the people.

I am a Christian, but I know that. It was edited all the time too, especially by Emperors and Popes. But that doesn't make it worthless or parts of it not divine.

It just makes it that much more confusing to search for truth in it.

As far as corruption goes. Well of course the bible was corrupted. Politicians are involved here. Rome had to have a God that pleased everyone. Catholic means Universal. Several other gods were baptized into Catholicism, taking their birthdays, their, body and blood from Mithras, the Amen from Amen Ra, the trinity from Babylon and Egypt.

I wonder what Uthman's criteria was for writing the Quran? There were several Qurans in the early days of your religion. We have no idea what the Arab Ahmet really said.

Also, Basilides' Gospel was an amalgamation of the synoptic gospels, and not an inspired work. Calling something a 'gospel' doesn't make it a 'Gospel' no matter the motivation.
