  • That cat did not want to be an actor

  • All four villains are just brilliant!!

  • I miss the days when the Joker gave jolly good service to his victims.

  • srsly shouldn't the captain be more worried when a goddamn clown is on the boat & not even questioning why the makeup doesnt go? his skin is bleached ! it' s the joker ya dimwit call bats or someone!

  • batman should use cats against criminals it seems to threaten them indeed HAHA

    this show is fucking AWESOME!!

  • Franks voice sounds differently

  • This Joker is growing on me already.

  • @mathislimitless Loved this Joker since I was a kid. He was the first one I remember so he has always been my favorite. But Heath was the best one although I enjoyed this one the most

  • @beani24329 You're so right. This Joker is enjoyable and brings back great memories because he was the first one played by an actor. But Heath will always be the best Joker because his acting was so off the roof that you sometimes believed he really was that character.

  • Oh. my. God.

    I remember this!

Man, I saw this when I was but a wee child... and it's stayed with me for all these years.

  • Lego Batman anyone?

  • Nolan should make an Adaptation of this for his next film.

  • @ThatSoRandom100 There's a lot of people that you could have on your bedroom walls instead of Burgess Meredith. So, if you like Burgess that much, then you go for it! lol I had Farrah and Jaclyn and Lynda Carter on my walls when I was your age. Burgess was a very fine actor, and I remember seeing him in an old Twilight Zone when I was younger. Interesting note: Burgess and Julie Newmar (Catwoman) were both in Mackenna's Gold together in 1969.

  • @ThatSoRandom100 Burgess is in about 21 shows of Batman. He often said a word that sounded like "faaa" as if to say "foiled" or "foiled again". Please check out his Batgirl episodes. He said "faaa" and then "quack" in the movie. "Actually, it was a pretty funny noise for a penguin to make," said Meredith. "I sounded more like a duck." It was a great show, and there was no need for profanity like in the trash today. Let's not demean Burgess by saying that he said the "F" word on Batman.

  • the joker looks like ronald mc donald

  • Now where the hell is Clint Eastwood's Two Face :( ?

  • Paula Jai Parker. She should really be Cat Woman. I'm serious. She fits the script like Eartha Kitt in sass and creative character.

  • Corny, but better than that overblown, sadiistic, pretentious Christopher Nolan crap.

  • I hope Nolan decides soon on which villains will be used carefully for the next Bat-film. I'm hoping that will see his interpretation up to date on the four original Batman villains from this film. He's got Joker so far, now all he needs is Riddler, Catwoman, and Penguin.

  • I love the old Riddler & Jok3R from '66!

  • So who are ALL the villians in the series? Joker,Catwoman,Riddler,Penguin,King Tut,Minstrel,Mr.Freeze...can't really remember them all.

  • 0:08 - it sounds the Penguin just called Gorshin a "fuck-rack".

  • Commodore Schmidlapp is my homeboy.

  • this is anoying

  • I think "frankenfurter" woulda reallly like caesar romero.........ha pa da pum pum.....

  • private penguin food? what? xD

  • I love how they labled their stuff in the background, that sure is important if you form a super criminal union!

  • Best stoner movie. Ever.

  • Batman myth does not depend

  • Correction on my part is was Meriweather who played Catwoman but shes the only one left from the group of the four.

  • I loved this movie.. R.I.P.: Burgess Meredith and Frank Gorshin, Cesar Romero.. Gosh the only one left is CatWoman "Julie Newmar"

  • dont forget eartha kitt too catwoman #1

  • @rober2124 , you were correct Julie Newmar did play CatWoman on the TV Batman..and Lee Meriwether played CatWoman in the Movie version. and Eartha Kitt took over for Julie in the 3rd season...of the 3 who played CatWoman, Julie and Lee are still alive...Eartha died on Christmas day (25th) 2008.

  • @rober2124 despite the fact that Julie Newmar wasn't Catwoman in the movie. it was Lee Meriwether.

  • @rober2124 that was lee meriweather yo

  • @rober2124 at least i think so

  • @rober2124 Except that's Lee Merriweather, you.

  • you have to love how scared the 3 supervillians of Gotham City are of a little cat. It is campy but so much fun to watch this classic!

  • Cool scene. Bitchin' movie.

  • I love it whenever the Joker says "Yo ho!"

  • wow i never throat id see all these villains together in a batman film

  • these old shows.....everyone is so hysterical lol

  • why is catwoman dressed as queen latifa?

  • the riddler actually had a good look, I could see him as a serial killer on CSI

  • Awesome!

  • What great effects, lighting, and acting.

    LOL

  • joker looks like my nana

  • Ha Ha! My brother and I used to call our piano teacher "The Joker" because she looked just like Caesar Romero from the 60s TV show...

  • Hahaha you two are mean :DDDD I like you now.

  • these guys are the best hahaha

  • Pip was the name of a character in the Dickens novel, "Great Expectations", the reason I know is I had to read it in school.

  • HA! pip...i know that bc of south park

  • lol "you and your exploding shark"

  • Camp-tastic!

  • Why thank you so much 3dart. I appreciate your feedback

    --Alex

  • whats the foundation for CAMP?

    Camping?

  • The 1940s comics kicked ass. Sure they were old and aren't as good as today's, but all the concepts were there.

  • Of course I do. And leave the 1940s out of it! Batman killed in the 40s and The Joker was in no way funny. It only grew campy in the 50s when the comic censorship started.

And how can you say that this stuff isn't supposed to be "Batman The Sitcom"? Honestly I think this show was mocking the old Batman comics from the 50s-60s

  • I don't really like the campy Batman,I have enough of Fantastic Four comics that deal with that element.

  • It's a parody, not a real Batman film

  • @thereefshark---It is a real movie made in 1966. You can buy or rent it on DVD. Adam West played Batman in this movie.

  • Riddles???

  • How was I supposed to know they had a can of shark- repelling batspray handy, you sniveling sardine?!

  • .^-^.

    \^¡^/

    ..\-/..

    _||_

  • Mr. Freeze and Ivy is even more unlikely than the Riddler...

  • The villains were played pretty good in the series, it was the cheesy and corny antics of Batman and Robin that made the film and series dumb.

Otherwise, these villains were portrayed accurately compared to their comic counterparts, but I must say, the Joker in the Dark Knight was only sadistic like the Joker but his attitude was not the same as in the comics.

  • I am we will see the Penguin again in the next Batman movie, maybe with Twoface if they didn't kill him but the Riddler isnt a good movie villain in my opinion.

  • personally, i think the penguin is an incredibly lame villain. Probably Batman's worst. So if they do decide to include him in the next film (if there will even be one) it'd be hard to adapt a character as innately campy as the penguin into The Dark Knight's gritty and realistic world

  • I dont know why you have that feeling, they could go two routes with the Penguin, either make him like he was in Batman Returns, a sadistic murderer or like here, a fat mob boss who is slightly deformed. I think he would fit good, much better than the lame ass attempt at the Scarecrow in Batman Begins.

  • Really? You didn't like the Scarecrow? I actually did they did a good, subtle, job of converting a comic book villain into a very believable real-world villain. He did have a shitty exit from the movie though. (Getting tazed while riding a horse, screaming like a girl, passing out while still on the horse, and riding off unconsciously into the fog/night) Ha ha ha!

  • I think they should do Hush at some point from the comic, A really memorable

    and nasty character.

  • Hmm, before you mentioned it, I've never heard of Hush. After reading up on it though, I totally agree with you, that would be cool, and he would fit right in.

  • i wish the joker would bring me a drink when i wanted one

  • riddles??

  • You can see romero's tash lol.

  • RIDDLES????

  • GOD - I loved watching this as a kid in the 1970's

  • damn that cats fat and demented

  • yeah i think penguin will be in it..

    riddler was so...silly ;P

  • "i'll incapacitate the beast with my trick confetti!"

    jokes.

  • they said ertha kitt played cat woman in the old bat man stuff, who is this cat woman, did she replace ertha or was she before.

  • There were 3 :

    -Julie Newmar (season 1 & 2)

    -Lee Meriwether (the Movie)

    -Eartha Kitt (season 3)

  • dam i love that joker laugh romero is the second vest joker first is ledger and 3rd jack common jack waz more like a mafia man i hated that

  • jack had a mean ass laugh when he played joker, i hope ledger set it off, witch i know he did. cant wate 2 see the dark knight, but i love 2 see the old bat man shows

  • mark hamell from the cartoons is the best one

  • yeah i forgot about him,u right he do have a ignit laugh. i jus downloded the cartoon, not not batman beyond, but the one's before that.

  • Jesus! compare this to the new dark knight movie!

  • you're not supposed to, this stuff is just pure fucking hilarity because it's the exact opposite of what Batman should be

  • United Underworld rules!!! Hahhah :)

  • kitty!

  • Why so serious?

  • aint thats joker's new quote....i like it. but the classic is always the coldest(Wate till they Get Aload Of Me)lol

  • Is it true that Catwoman had sex with all three of those badies?

  • LOL Naww Man U silly lol..when did u hear that?

  • coincidence. "gives me a good chance to get caught up on my Dickens." one of Dickens' books was 'Great Expectations'. "Well, PIP-PIP to you, sir!" LOL!

  • Hehehe, your tea, Commodore Schmidlapp.

  • "Thank you, steward!" Bit of class... What were they on?

  • For those who never knew of this-

the Commodore character was a take off of the Lipton Tea guy-

Yes, there really was a Lipton Tea guy, Thomas Lipton, who in real life, competed against the USA for England in the 1800's for the Americas Cup yacht races.

  • a shark that explodes

  • The villains placed TNT in the shark..actually Joker did.

  • Ceasar Romero had a clause in his contract when he played the Joker that stated that he would never shave off his mustache for his role. He never did. If you look closely you can see above his upper lip is caked with white face paint. His signature 'joker laugh' came from Ceasar's instant reaction when he first saw the wardrobe that he would wear as the joker.

  • private riddles?? pengiun food?

back then everything had to be spelled out for retarded children, now batman shows have global warming issues and nuclear weapons.

  • oo, well pip pip to you sir!

  • If things don't work with Catwoman it would be a cat-tastrophe. That would give everyone paws to think. Then the fur would fly!

  • purr-fectly...just purr-fectly. What a babe Lee Meriweather was.

  • his confounded tea!

  • The Joker is such a dick.

  • the hell does pip pip mean?? lol

  • its kind of a naval thing.

  • notice in the scene that the camera is crooked to represent the crooks

  • shark repelling spray
