There is another way to get the drake sword. If you stay on the bridge long enough, it will land in the bridge where you can cut and kill it(not in 1 hit). You go behind it, hit the tail a few times, and you get the drake sword.

another way to kill em, is by chopping off his tail when he lands on the bridge, i chopped it off whith like 30 50 arrows or so, it will immediatly kill em, dont know why though, it works though

3. buy as much arrows as you can

4. soak up damage until you are at 10 percent health

5. shoot at dragon's head from area where you first meet solaire

I ran past him, and made it inside. Though he just flew away once I got in. And lit the Bonfire. do you think i fucked it up for myself or do I have to fight him later on? I think the way I did it, was not a glitch. Least, I believe so.

Go up the stairs connected to the bonfire.You will end up in the middle of the bridge.Take out Your bow and shoot the dragon making him jump onto the bridge.When he does run between his legs to the bonfire like a pussy.Be sure to be fast.

Pussies. I killed him face to face, filling him with arrows from the great Dragonslayer bow, while he kept roasting me (but eventually, he gave in). OK, you need to be leveled up a bit (I was around 90 I guess) and have all the fire protection there is (armour, ring, miracle) to make it work. Run past the dragon but NOT inside the door; just hug the wall. From there, shoot him. After the first shot, he will switch position and start roasting you; just keep healing and shooting. Worked for me..

@Emanfox333 You didn't read my post. I was face to face with him (how would I get burned constantly by him if I was far away?). I ran to the door below him which leads to the bonfire with the shortcut, but not inside the door. I remained outside, right under the f***ing dragon. For a sec, he gets quiet, and you can shoot the first arrow in his head. He then falls down to the floor, right in front of you, and starts exhuming flames, right in front of you.

But of course, since you get burned constantly, you need to be pretty strong and fire resistant. I have to admit that I didn't manage to kill him with a sword, though; didn't have a melee build, and wasn't strong enough to stay on my feet during his fire attacks.

@IhateMYgam3rTAG No you don't. You just have to manage to run past by him. Which you can with enough fire protection. Once you run through under his feet through the door, you're at the bonfire. And the dragon will seemingly disappear (but returns later, when you cross the bridge again, so watch out)

@DivusPennae it's easy, just go up stairs where the undead are walking around the bridge then you call the dragon's atention then run faster as you can till the bondfire, but don't litf it, just open the gate, because if you lift the bondfire the drake never will come back again

Seriously it's like 10,000 souls, it's not worth getting excited about. He's easy to avoid, plus you can go through the early parts without the drake sword, I did. Wait until later, get a lightning spear go toe to toe and melee him to death in the nads. Much more satisfying than glitching it like a sissy.

I tried this. The dragon did disappear. But I didn't get the souls. And when I go on the bride, he shows up again. And when I try to go up on the tower, the dragon disappears. It's really annoying so I just ignore him. He's not really as bad as the red or blue dragon in Demon Souls, though.

lol i killed him fighting in the center of the bridge using the walls for cover from most of his attacks but i used gold-hem armour to reduce fire damage but then again his physical attack can do a lot so avoiding that is a must.

Also guys if you kill him before you get the drake sword it doesnt matter... The sword is not very strong once you reach half way you can make a elemental sword or quelaggs furysword which is arguably the strongest weapon in the game...

For some reason the glitch wouldn't work because everytime I go on the tower where the black night is the wyvern disappears. But when I go close to the bridge its back. So guys if this glitch doesn't work, and till kill the dragon much easier but it will take some time; all you have to do is buy 150-200 large arrows and go under the bridge where you get the drake sword and either shoot at his wings or the base of his tail. Be sure you're close enough to him because the closer you are the more

You can also get the drake sword by shooting the dragon in the head from a nice sniper spot. Head towards the rat tunnel. After killing them, stand in the corner on the ledge away from the bridge. You'll safely be able to shoot the dragon in the head. It'll never spot you down there and so, never retaliate.

Don't sign in your PS3 ACC. Just play the game, With the CD.

Use your arrows to cut the dragon tail to get the Drake Sword.

When the tail is cut, It also dies. soooo... someone comfirm for me.

I comfirmed this already. did like 20-30 New Games just to try. 4-7 fail leaving the dragon alive. but most of the time. Killed it while cutting off the tail. (not Comfirmed with 1.05 version of the game, Comfirmed 1.03 version lower)
