I want to ministry to you today, i am not perfect, i have a tone of health issues and life problems myself, it is the spirit of God that has kept me going-faith in Jesus Christ the Lord and saviour. I came to learn that when you think God is not listening to you, he is actually carrying you on his back, he is lifting you up when you are not able to walk on your own feet.

There's a fine balance... if you're really falling at present and feeling convicted, it's probably not yet time to go to the ministry, but don't forget... ministry and the church aren't for perfect people... they are for people who have realized they DON"T have it all right. Church should be more like an AA meeting than a country club... "Hi, I'm John and I'm a sinner". Don't wait for perfection to do what you feel God is calling you to do.
I am a Muslim and i listen to Christian rock music where only God is mentioned, or parts where only God is mentioned, or lyrics which make it possible for me to interpret as being dedicated to God only. Besides regular prayer as my strong foundation, i find the worship of God through music very uplifting and rewarding and i have experienced countless of nothing short of wonderful moments through this. Only God could take on the full force of all God's wrath for all. He died for all and only God could be risen from it. what you're saying is great, but can i just point out that god does not love us all equally? He loves us all, but of course he doesn't have the exact same amount of love for every single person. that's just silly.
@OpalChevvy i dont think its silly, god doesnt show favouritism so there is no prove in the Bible to say God loves one person more than the other! God loves us all and i dont know if he loves us all equally and neither do you! There are so many thing we still have to learn about our heavenly father so lets just leave it at God loves everyone! :)
I think God does love us all equally, but the WAY he loves each of us is a little different, just like each one of us is different from one another. No two people are exactly alike, so you can't love them in exactly the same way. But you CAN love them equally.
And this is what God does. That's the beauty of it: He looks past all the terrible parts and sees the goodness in all of us and loves us for US, not for what we have done.
I don't know about equally, but since the bible never states that he does or does not love us equally, i suppose that's a possibility, or atleast possible for the elect.
Sometimes it's impossible to understand God. That's just the way He is. We don't love everyone equally; we don't even love everyone, so it's hard to understand how He possibly can. But the way I think of it is, He isn't distracted by the things we see. He doesn't look at someone and see all the things that would make us think badly about someone, like how they look or act. He sees what's really there and knows exactly who that person is. He doesn't judge, because He understands.
@OpalChevvy I do not know what 'equally' has to do with God, it sounds like a human concept, and He is so far beyond such things. But what we know is all we need to know, and that is what St. Paul tells us in Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Hello, I'm a young Christian who accepted Jesus as my savior about 4 years ago. Even though I truly believe in Him and want to follow HIm, I keep failing. My life has gotten harder since then. Could just be cause I'm a teen-young adult, but yeah. If anyone can please give me serious, godly advice on how I can improve my faith in Him, please let me know. It's all about filling in the gaps of your knowledge with an explanation and try to get that feeling of oneness with the universe. Pretty much every religion promotes those things.. I love corporate worship, not even kidding you. People have such a negative view of the church, and it IS flawed in some respects, I agree. But seeing all those people with their hands raised and eyes closed, loving on the very same God... It's seriously one of the most beautiful and encouraging things, and it touches me right at my core. Sometimes you have to watch someone really go after Jesus before your own spirit is stirred. To all the prayer warriors out there, please pray for my brother David, he has been a Christian for 20+ years since he was about 9. 2 months ago, he disowned Jesus and everything that my parents have taught us. Now he's an atheist. This has been really hard for my family and I. One good thing that came out of it is I've been praying a lot more than I used to. I'm a college student, and today I overheard two students talking about how they are already planning their schedules for next semester around their 21st birthdays so that they can get as drunk as possible. Hello, I'm a young Christian who accepted Jesus as my savior about 4 years ago. Even though I truly believe in Him and want to follow HIm, I keep failing. My life has gotten harder since then. Could just be cause I'm a teen-young adult, but yeah. If anyone can please give me serious, godly advice on how I can improve my faith in Him, please let me know. I don't want to be a lukewarm Christian who is saved but never does anything for God. I want to be a Christian who lives for God in all I do.

I don't understand how it's rude. If my sister or brother became Christian, I wouldn't try to force them out of it, because I love them for who they are and whatever belief they have.
Writing such things about a family member is just hateful. Pushing religion onto other people is extremely rude and cruel.

One question guys, how do u all know god is real? i mean many people find comfort from all their religion, not just Christianity, i've seen buddhist worshipers are as devoted as u guys, now im not a guy whos judgemental (im between the borderline of christianity and atheist), what makes u think ur god is any different than other god, all religion promotes good teaching, i just wanna know ur(christain's) perspective as my family didnt taught me much

@GameFreakz626 Ask any other religion's people and you are likely to get the same answers you will here. It's all about filling in the gaps of your knowledge with an explanation and try to get that feeling of oneness with the universe. Pretty much every religion promotes those things.. OH YEAH I almost forgot! It takes away the fear of death too by saying you are immortal in one way or another. If youre confused or curious I recommend facts over person testimonies of random people over the net

@GameFreakz626 hello there knowing that God is real does not mean that God exist physically. It is about believing that He is there and Christianity calls it as FAITH. Our relationship and faith in God is strengthened by reading the Bible. Although you can't see Him you just know that He is alive and His running the entire universe. Science has many explanations to everything happening around but for Christians we know that God is in control of everything.

I love corporate worship, not even kidding you. People have such a negative view of the church, and it IS flawed in some respects, I agree. But seeing all those people with their hands raised and eyes closed, loving on the very same God... It's seriously one of the most beautiful and encouraging things, and it touches me right at my core. Sometimes you have to watch someone really go after Jesus before your own spirit is stirred. I love it.

To all the prayer warriors out there, please pray for my brother David, he has been a Christian for 20+ years since he was about 9. 2 months ago, he disowned Jesus and everything that my parents have taught us. Now he's an atheist. This has been really hard for my family and I. One good thing that came out of it is I've been praying a lot more than I used to. I believe prayer is one of the most powerful things in the world, so please, PRAY.

Maybe your brother discovered a part of his own God in himself, the will and power to do what is right not because a Bible, Quran etc tells him or fear of that he will be punished after death but because the alternative is always selfish, one way or another. Im not an atheist myself, though many call me one, but i dont believe in any religion that takes away the right to think. You, my friend, are either fanatic or just jealous that your brother have his own mind.

@Yuri77711 The part you both should understand is that nobody is born christian. Those in which God's Spirit dwells are too few in these days. Most think them say they are christians cause they went with their parents to church since they were little but they are not. And a time comes when they ask themselves real-life questions. They cannot answer because they never had God's nature in them, they just thought so. Jesus said better be real or not. Middle is the worst of all. Middle are so many..

I'm a college student, and today I overheard two students talking about how they are already planning their schedules for next semester around their 21st birthdays so that they can get as drunk as possible. We are all consumed by something, whether it is alcohol, drugs, lust, greed, etc. It's hard to grasp how my generation will ever find a relationship with Jesus Christ, but then I remember my own life's story is imperfect. Now the true cry of my heart is to bring our glorious God praise.
