He's been playing guitar since the age of 9 or thereabouts. @akira6666666 This is actually the very first thing I've heard Sungha play. I replied to you going from memory of what I'd just heard. So I played the video again and tried to be objective. He's still forming his finger strength at this stage. I can tell emotional development in a guitar player by how well they do what I call 'chronic subtle vibrato'. Four players who have mastered this are Tommy Iomi,Tony Mottola, Jimmy Page, and Alex Lifeson ( especially on 'Rush' & Caress of Steel).

@akira6666666 I've been playing guitar for 32 years. At 18 I went to the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT). I got in because my audition tape showed lots of emotion even though my technical abilities were probably average. Ultimately the institute tries to produce working studio musicians. To this day I can't sight read for squat, but I can get through a fake book/ real book chart okay. I'm a good judge of feeling & IMO this boy has it! T While at GIT I was amazed at how many players didn't.

Wow this song in particular made me want to cry... I just closed my eyes and fell into the music. I also love the fact that he keeps improving over time... Even the first vids when he was just 10 years old were amazing but he seemed very focused on getting it right and playing fast,,, now his style seems a lot more relaxed and effortless, something that I appreciate. I'm sure he'll be able to play any style as he gets older and has more experience.
