You got it mate! This American boy learned about the NWOBHM when I was in high school...a friend of mine was British and had loads of records from Black Rose and other bands.
As well, import records flooded the shelves and a lot of us were learning about the timeless sound of British metal from our friends who dared buy them.
Music trends come and go, but the NWOBHM is forever!
