Isn't this life size? Gollum is a hobbit and hobbits are smaller then humans. So 3/4 is the same as in the movies. or am I wrong?

@smallvilleSGL hi mate, no it's not a life size, a 3/4 scale means is smaller than the actual thing.

I wish thay had done it on a 1:1 scale because it's a beautiful bust but you never know with the Hobbit coming out next year they might officially release a life size bust!

this is so freaky my partner freaks at it when she is watching tv, it is so real some times you wait for gollum to say something its one of there best bits of work.

Yeah you are absolutely right, I also wondered why they didn't go the full 1:1 scale so I guess we just have to settle with this one, having said that & the odd size it's a real beauty & of you come accross one I highly recommend that you get it because you won't be dissapointed & thats a guarantee!!!

I'm just blown away, this is the first time I have seen this piece close up.

I have several busts but none of them have paintwork this good!

3:4 scale seems a bit of an odd size, I don't understand why Sideshow didn't go that little bit more and make it full size?
