  • I think it's second nature to go into a burning building. The rush alone is something I crave, and if I was entering a building knowing I was going to save someone, or going in to find someone, it'd be second nature to me. Fear ends and duty to act begins. I wouldnt think twice. FF/EMT-student

  • im the first of my entire family on both ma mom n dads side to become a firefighter...i love it more then anything

  • Why are you a firefighter? im a firefighter so i can drive as fast as i want to and no one can stop me, and its easy-er to get lady's :D nah kidding....ore?

  • i get asked this mutiple time and i usualy answer " its who i am, i was born to be a firefighter, i love to help people even though i put my life to risk. i love it every second of the day. i dont do it for fame or anything i do it because its who i am. its in my blood i am proud to help my county.! "

  • I don't know... I just do it.

  • I'm a Wesley Township firefighter. Most people don't understand why we do what we do, why we are willing to die to save people. It's a thankless job, but it's people like you that drive us to do what we do. So from a fireman to you, thank you for your support and graditude.

  • I am a firefighter for "Still Alive" theory:

"We do what we must, because we can."

  • 9 people will never get asked that question "Why are you a firefighter". I'm currently going to school for it

  • When i am asked why do i risk my life and why do i go into burning buildings i say: because i care, and everyone has a set time, but if its not there time to go then that is why god sent me and the millions of others there, because its not there time. but i say i do it because i care not just for people but for animals as well. i am proud to be what i am :) and i would never change a thing. and not only do i care but as it is a firefighters job to help people, animals and the property of all

  • If you say its not easy then you don't know why your a firefighter yourself and that is sad. Its so easy to answer this. Why am I a firefighter? I was born for it. Im a firefighter because its something to be truly proud of. You KNOW your making a difference. Thats why i wanted to do it. Because i KNOW I'm making a difference. Im not trying to be some hero, nobody asks for that. Im just doing a job that needs to be done. And its the best job in the world, wouldn't trade anything for it.

  • this is truly the best thing to do its the only thing i really know how to do at this point in my life 22 yrs old been in it since i was 18

  • Firefighters are amazing, which is why I want to be a firefighter when I'm older

  • I thank each and every firefighter out there, you guys are true heroes. You risk your lives on a daily basis, for people you haven't met before! God bless you all.

  • Haec Ago ut Alii Vivant.....pretty much sums it up

  • i have gotten asked why am i a volunteer emt, i just simply looked at the person and said its a hard calling that i am willing to do, and if i can help a family that is in distress it makes it that much better and that is my pay, so even though i give my time people give me the reason to continue because if i can make someones day a little better than i feel that i have accomplished something

  • thankyou for great video im a firefighter in northeast Texas LEFD

  • Thank You Very Much for your service. GODbless and Keep you safe. i am a volunteer fire fighter in Princeton,Maine, U.S.A.

  • if you die saving another life, i see that as a death worth dying

  • Your welcome, and thank you. Not just for the vid., but for your service, my brother thank you. From all your brothers and sisters at station 381, Yermo Ca.

  • When I am asked that question by anyone I always say "I you see someone trapped or injured are you going to try to help them or are you just going to let them suffer" they usually say "I will try to help them" and then I say "I will to out of all the people I have seen get injured while I have been with the fire dept I have only seen 1 of them again but that is because I goto the same school as him."

  • i may be a paid on call firefigther but i dont care bout the money if i didnt get paid that wouldnt bother me a bit its something i love doing along with being in the military

  • Dad thanks for being a volunteer firefighter, i know you quit to support your 2 new kids, but still thanks, i know it was hard when your best friend went in, and never came out.

  • god bless all my brothers an sisters out there

  • Anyone who has went thru the academy pass is A person that sees good in all forgets the bad and has no fear it could be you in the brotherhood since 1992 and proud of it,god bless all my brothers and sisters.

  • Saving lives is addictive lol

  • firefighting is not a job. its a way of life, a passion, and a calling. To save somebodys life or preserve their property, although you have never seen them before, and may never see them again, is the best feeling in the world. To crawl through houses, and save people, or extinguish the fire itself, is an honor. Im a firefighter myself, i dont call myself a "hero" or a "modern day warrior" i call it being blessed because i have the greatest responsibility in the world.

  • im a fire fighter becasue i love to help people and it makes me feel good when u save someone from a burning building or just helping someone from a car wreak like people say its not a job it somethin we do out of the love of our hearts becasue its a passion and we love what we do

  • it always makes me sad when i pass a fire station and see the flag at half mast

  • Best reason I've heard came from the show Rescue me. "This isn't a job. It ain't a profession. It's a calling."

  • i am a firefighter and this video is very heart warming and very well put. well done midi295

  • i love this video and the song is perfect gave me goosebumps thanks

  • my answer to this is, "Because I don't know how not to be one."

  • i was with a dept for 4 1/2 yrs. i do still take videos and photos of fire service related things. looking forward to joining another FD.. assuming they allow me as a fire photographer. (photo unit was my role on my last FD. it may seem "stupid" but it sure as hell ment alot to me.)

  • when your at your station its career and volunteer but when your on a car accident or fire were one department. we all firefighters and were all doing the job to save a child or brother/sister, mother, father or whatever be the case. we all love this job and to every firefighter out there stay safe. were all family in the end

  • People tell me to become something else instead of a firefighter because it's a useless job and not a stable job in the future. I tell them to f@#k off and walk away

  • I'm a firefighter becasue I hate seeing pain and destruction. I love taking a really shitty situation, and making it less shitty. I do it to follow in my Grandfather, Uncles, Mother and Father's footsteps, making a shitty situation less shitty. We are the kind of people that are here if you need us, but we pray to God that you never do. It's never a good thing when the pager goes off. I pray that I never hear it again, but when it does, I will be there to answer the call, making it less shitty.

  • I am not old enough to be a Volunteer, but nothing can change my mind. I have always wanted to be one, like all of the other comments, I don't want money I just want to help.

  • I have been a Volunteer Firefighter for almost 15 years. I dont do it because it's a job or anything like that. I have been asked many times why do I do this? My answer is simple, I do it because it's a passion, I do it to help people who need help and mainly because I care...

  • i am a firefighter not because of the money, the name, or the glory, but because its what i love.i dont put a price on saving lives or serving the community. why do i do it? because i love what i do. that my fellow brothers and sister firemen is the answer. we do it out of pure passion.

  • I am a Firefighter because i cannot stand being able to help and not.

  • im always asked this by my mothers family or my cousins friends im a volie for my town and i wouldnt give it one thought as i do this job why do i do it i was born to do it as long as i can remeber i always wanted to do this so i agree some people are born as this some arnt

  • np brother

  • @rodderful north pole?

  • people ask me all the time why do i go into burning buildings, why do i risk my life for another life, and why do you do it? I say I was born to do it

  • @Anthony117 Its in my blood too brother

  • its what i was ment to do from birth an until i die rather i'm a volunteer like now or being a paid guy in the future its my passion to help others in time of need is the real reason i became firefighter

  • When I was asked why do I want to be a firefighter, I didn't know what to say. Then I started thinking about it. That, in itself, is my reason. I can't tell you why I want to be a firefighter. It's something that I know I have to do and I want to do. I won't be complete unless I'm running into that burning building. I have a beautiful, loving wife and 4 kids and I still need this. You can't explain it. You're either a firefighter, or you're not.

  • @gkopacz i agree whole heartedly. you have to have it in you to do this job. i cant think of anything else i would rather do.

  • it comes from birth....i do it cause i love it. i beleave i speek for most of us we dont do it because we want to be heros but because we love it

  • i have a shirt that says FIREFIGHTERS ARE HERE TO SAVE YOUR ASS NOT KISS IT.....LOL.

  • i was born to be firefighter. thats all there is too it, thats what makes you able to do and see the things we see. god bless all my fellow brothers.

  • representing CRVFD

  • a Firefighter is a firefighter paid or not. We all do the same job. stay safe take care.

  • I'm not really sure any of us actually chose to be firefighters, I think we were chosen to be firefighters. There has to be some twisted DNA in a person to be willing to run into a burning building when eveyone else is headed out. I truelly believe we have something God put in us to give us the desire and ability to withstand the things we see as firefighters. So I am not sure there is an answer to the question other than because it is what we were put on this earth to do.

  • i respect firefighters :D

  • Yeay Great A Firefighter from Holland ceep up te good work

  • My dad is a full time firefighter in chicago and he loves the job so much he doesnt even care if he gets paid. NO matter what happens.

  • your a firefighter because all firefighters are god sent men, and women alike, my grandfather dedicated his life to saving others.

  • I am so glad to see that their are so many volunteer firefighters, its a good feeling that some people besides me just like to help people. Everyone always talks about how bad everything is today, but when I see things like this, it make me think that maybe its not that bad after all.

  • Thats true there are sooo many people that make fun of us volunteers. But you dont have to get paid, for me its the rush of saving people and their property. Some people think that you should get paid to do everything but you dont. I have always loved helping lpeople and being a volunteer firefighter doesnt make me any less of a firefighter than the ones getting paid.

  • im tired of people making fun of voluteer firefighters because what if us volunteers didnt volunteer and there is no one there to save your live i dont have to get paid i do it because i want to so for anybody that wants to go out and make fun of me go ahead and just remeber what if we didnt volunteer who would save you or your family tell me that

  • Thank you for this and GOD BLESS you and keep you safe my brother

  • im a vol. in anne arundel coutny glen burnie maryland . we never get thanked by civilans but on feb 19 2011 when station 33 glen burnie ran 45 calls in a 35 hour period with the ssame crew of 3 people. our career capt thanked us for helping them. this meant alot to all of us. also at firefighter mark falkenhams funeral a lady held a sign saying "thank you guys for all that you do." this hit us all hard

this is the best job anyone can do and i love too

    everyone stay safe out there

  • i'm a vol. ff and also an emt and all i ever hear is praise if we do good and then blame us if some one dies or something burns down. Yet those same people will not put in an application to become a vol. because it doesn't fit their schedule. i get choked up when someone simply says "thank you" or "we appreciate all that you do" because the truth is, we don't hear compliments at all in this line of work. it may be the area i live in but still, a 'thank you" goes a very long way.

  • Im 17 and have been a fire cadet for 5 years. Ill get my FF1&2 Cert this June. I get asked by people everyday how I chose to do this job at a young age and all I can say is because I enjoy being part of the brotherhood and the feeling of being the person who helps someone in the worst time of their life. I grew up with the guys on my department, they all look after me and make sure I do my best. I get excited when people ask what I do becasue I love it so much. Im a proud firefighter

  • i am asked the same question. my answer? "so no one will have to see the same horrors that i have seen."

  • why i volunteer in the fire service: although my main function is a Photo Unit now, it shows you life lessons that matter. ones that count. ones that you can come back n hug your family. plus it turns a teen into a man vs a street hoodlum. Glad i made this choice. no regrets.

  • Firefighter fever: THERE IS NO CURE!

  • I seriously think im gunna kill myself after hearing this song..

  • @wrxstturb0 The answer to your question just depends on the Dept. protocols I never took one. I am only a volunteer though and it was a few years ago when I recieved my training.

  • hello everyone! i have a serious question i wanna ask. im taking classes to become a firefighter but there is something i afraid that might stop me from becoming one. i heard that in order to become a firefighter, you must pass the polygraph test. And there is where the problem comes in. In the past, i had a gf who was underage....do they ask anything such as sex related? its been bothering me for years. i really feel bad

  • the other day i was asked "why are you a volunteer firefighter"

my answer was "i volunteer to save lives"

and he asked "but why would you do it for free, why not get a payin job as a firefighter"

and i answered "becouse i dont put a $ sign on somebodys life"

  • @deerkiller26 That's very respectable.

  • @deerkiller26 i know the feeling, one of my friends told me i was crazy to do what i do for free. the best payment for me is knowing that people know that we will drop whatever it is we are doing to help them in their time of need. i cant think of a better job to do

  • @Fire380Fighter i am working toward becoming a firefighter so i can't say much about that directly but i have done a many a hours of volunteer work and i have to say a thank you or a hug is better than any amount of money so if u see any volunteer tell him/her thank you and give them a hug for all they do

  • @ruskinedwards no problem and will do

  • @deerkiller26 So what your telling me is that since I do this for a living and get paid to do it I am putting a price on someones life? Get over yourself! God has gifted me with a job I love to do and the ability to support my family doing it. We all know why not everyone gets paid to do the job and it has nothing to do with putting a dollar sign on somenones life. Theres not one volunteer that I have known or ever met that wouldnt start working tomorrow if the job was open to everybody!

  • @deerkiller26 man i love that answer i have been asked the same thing and i have said some thing waht u said i have said cause i love the job so much i do not care if i am paid or not it is my life my passion

  • @deerkiller26

well, you see... Im going to be a professional firefighter, because the volunteers in my county dont have much work to do, but the professionals are always having their hands full.

  • @amon16 in my country its the other way around, volunteers fight against 50 meter high flames in the summer, they fight to put out 1000s of acres of forest that are burning at a tromendous speed, they enter the gates of hell with out getting payed 1 cent, and alot the wind playes a joke on them and traps them in 60 meter high fire tornados, while the payed only tend to the odd car crash here and there,

  • @deerkiller26 or because "I'm to scared to work at a real Fire dept..." But its whatever..

  • @deerkiller26 way to go brother

  • @deerkiller26 Amen!

  • @deerkiller26 i've been asked this too and i replied "I do it because I want to make sure the innocent people make it home to their families and if I were to die at least i know it would be trying to save another's life so they may live"

  • @deerkiller26 : Yeah, because us career guys put $ signs on people's lives. Nice comment Vollie.

  • @jester7574 Does it matter whether if your a vollie like me or paid were brothers and got each others backs no matter what happens and saving lifes if you don't like it become a cop

  • @deerkiller26 ive been asked the same qwestion it takes a speshal bread im a 12th genorashion fireman and i love this job

  • @deerkiller26 I, too, am a volunteer and am asked the same question. I agree with you that you don't put a $ sign on somebodys life. Ever life whether human or animal is very special to someone and for those moments when a loved one says thank you for saving that life tells me that I am doing the right thing. I will never stop helping others.

  • @deerkiller26 amen

  • @deerkiller26 i Agree with you. i am a volunteer fire fighter in downeast maine.

  • the 7 people that dislike this wanted to become firefighters couldnt make so became a cop

  • i am sixteen and i want to join my local vollenteer fire department, my mom asked me why, And I am also a boy scout so i learned about helping people from that, and I told her, because if I can make some one's day, either by saving them from a structure fire or just showing up at a school, and letting the kids play around on the Apperatus thats worth it for me. But in the mean time thank you to all of the current firemen and women who do this job, you deserve tons more credit then you get.

  • And I don't understand peoples who says firemans are stupid or somecinde of this stuff.......

  • We need these heroes.....without them the world will be different.....

  • I'm going to take firefighter this school year (10th grade) or next year. :) I'm going to WORK HARD TO BE A FIREFIGHTER :)

  • @BlackDragon1542 it is definately the best job around and one that u will never want to give up ive been with my dept for 4 yrs now and couldnt dream of doin anything different , so i say good luck and id love to eat smoke with u some day bro just make sure that ur ready for it bc it is definately a hard job and there may be days that u feel like u cant do it anymore but just remember that u picked up a hose for a reason and itll keep u pushing forward, again good luck bro

  • @nfpd2 HEY that why I go to LA FITNESS. to be stronger, get abs, and big guns :P XD i have at least about 9 months to reach my goal. I'm sure by 9 months from now i look completely different in a good way. =) and TY; stay safe BRO AND SAVE LIVES :)

  • 6 people were kicked out of firefighter training because they couldnt handle it

  • i am just getting ready to finish entry level classes in 2 weeks. why do i do this. because someone needs to do it, and im crazy enough to go in an do it

    thanks for the vid NLVFD

  • Ive been doing this over 6 years i would not trade for anything guys at work ask me hey why are u a firefighter and i say it is my life.I love what i do and nobody can take that whay from me becouse it my life.

  • Why We go Into the Hous? its Our Job too Save You'r Life and other. and engaged. Thats We. We are a Big Family =)

  • ive been doing this for 4 1/2 yrs, wouldnt trade for anything. guys i work with ask me hey why are you a fire fighter, i dont really know how to answer it. but when i see someones house standing because of something my friends and i did, its worth all the crap we deal with. and anybody wanting to run your mouth about us, just remember when your stuck in your smashed car or trapped in your burning house who comes to get you out.

  • i think most of us also do just put fires out we drag peoples lifeless bodies out of a car while asshole like u keep going by like u fuckin own the road may god have mercy on u when its ur time

  • RESPECT COLLEGUE!!!

  • thanks we apreciate tht u care.. im a vol fire fighter with the company 37 in fort ashby wv i love saveing other people.... no matter wht the cause is..... but sometimes it can be hard and depressing but we all got each other's backs!

  • god bless

  • God Bless our Firefighters !

  • I want to become a firefighter for multiple reasons. One of them is for the brotherhood that comes with it, along with the respect. But most of all, I want to help people. Firefighting has been in my family for several generations, and I can't wait to continue this tradition =]

  • @TheRadioguy500 If your wanting to be a firefighter get ready for alot of crap. You will get burned, hurt, see some of the most gruesome things possible and not to mention crap from your fellow firefighters but it is one of the most rewarding things on earth. stay safe and enjoy the ride

  • @bobcats330 Believe it or not, I'm ready for it. I've wanted to be a firefighter since I was a young boy (I'm 17) Thanks for your comment =]

  • @TheRadioguy500...your not going to save everyone...and you have to Earn that brotherhood you just don't show up one day and think your in. I just hope you know that to.

  • @ArmyRescue1 Well I've known just about every firefighter in the company that I might get assigned to for almost all of my life, I don't think that's going to be to hard to do. My "step dad" is a training officer, so I'll get in good =] (respect wise)

  • @TheRadioguy500 ahh so your one of those kids. whos dad is inside the company. who thinks that he is going to get respect. you have to earn it. i dont care if it is the chiefs son. he needs to earn respect from me. ive seen over 200 fires and i dont even know how many accidents. im a veteran of this trade and you wont get any respect from me untill you earn it. i dont shake any new guys hands untill they earn it.

  • @BioHazardViper78 I have no problem with earning respect....sir

  • @TheRadioguy500 well then.... carry on. goodluck stay safe.

  • @07wastetheyear you are a moron.. seriously.. go to your local fire department. train with them on a control burn.. Then come back and say oh its just water on a fire.. You come down to Louisiana and I'll show you water on a fire.. People like you shouldnt be able to breed.. So that you dont filth the earth with anymore dicks like you.

  • o PLEASE...MY PAGE HAS REAL HEROS....UNDER MOMENTS 2 :-P

  • ...Are you ever going to be finished worshiping yourselves because you think your so brave and amazing? We put water on fire...get over yourselves. It doesnt make you so freaking brave or amazing. Best job in the world, no doubt about that, but self glorification is just public masterbation. Your just stroking yourself. Let go of the ego. Or is THAT why you do it?

  • @07wastheyear Say that to the 319 firefighters that ran into the world trade centers to rescue people and died in the process. Yeah, just water on fire.

  • @TimTehPilot BTW it was actully 343 fire fighters lost at 9/11. RIP the fallen heros and god bless the NYFD and all the fire fighters around the world!

  • @Crazeenerd Actually it was 341 FDNY FF's were killed (3 of which were retired) and 2 FDNYEMS Paramedics rounded the number to 343.

  • @SouthCarolinaOnFire yeah thats hat I meant cause the ems guys are technicly consider fire figthers and about 60 of the fire figthers who died were off duty at the time amazing courage.btw how many police officers died someone said it was about 20?

  • Comment removed

  • @Crazeenerd - Actually they ARE NOT considered Firefighters. They have their own division called FDNYEMS. They are VERY MUCH EMS and they DO NOT fight fire. I have many friends in the FDNY and everyone of them will tell you the same thing. The number of NYPD officers was 23 and the number of Port Authority police officers was 37. 15 other EMTs from various Ambulance Companies as well as 3 Court Officers were also killed in the fires and resulting collapse.

  • @SouthCarolinaOnFire my mistake the only sorce of info I really have on this subject is books and the internet so your probebly the more reliable sorce of info. On that note do you know if paramedics and EMTs have to train at med school like doctors or if it is a seperate training path?

  • @Crazeenerd Seperate Path

  • @TimTehPilot 343

  • @07wastheyear why would we do it for out Ego? theres been seven generations before, i actually like the thrill quite alot, just because your a probably sad bitter person on the internet doesnt we have to deal with you... i do it for my community, many of them dont even know who i am, they might not be there for me but ill be there for them

  • @07wastheyear Buddy you need to shut your mouth these guys are under paid over worked and have one of the most dangorous jobs in the world. And if that wasn't enough they get idiots like you berating them when you should be down on your knees thanking them. People like you make me sick I'd like to see run into a burning building wearing 50-100 pounds of gear after spending most of the night awake. Just keep your cyincal BS opeions to yourself cause no body here gives a crap what you think!

  • @07wastheyear and what do you do, live with your mother and masterbate to cheap porn, dude these men and wemon run into bondfires and have burning builds collapse around them, pull people out, throw them out the door while the building collapses on them, they would gladly die to,as sad as it is, save your life even after what you say, its a job, a passion, a lifestyle, and im only a fucking volunteer, i plan to go fulltime as soon as possible, but dude...learn some respect for the beast

  • @07wastheyear Im sry but clearly u kno nothing about firefighting. Otay... I have a brother who nearly got killed in one, bc he risked his life to save ppl. Then i have an ex who is a firefighter.. Then ontop of all tht, my current boyfriend is a firefighter. So dont be an ass to firefighters unless u kno wht u are talking bout. So go to a vol fire department train there fr alittle while go on a couple of calls n see wht it takes. i bet u will change ur mind real fast.

  • @07wastheyear your right, being a firefighter is the best thing i ever could have done with my life, but am i hero, no, shuld i be treated as a seperate species? no, we are just as normal as anybody eles, dont get me wrong i love what i do, but this kind of braging is outta hand, sumtin that glory hogs do

  • @07wastheyear you best watch it sir, there are people who are reading your comment who are firefighters or have a family member who is a firefighter, and water on fire, i dont see you going in to pull a person out or to put out the fire, I DONT EVEN GET PAID FOR THIS, like i said, you best watch it

  • I hate to say, you`r wrong in one little detail... we are not colleagues, we are brothers... good video!!!...

  • paid or volunteer its the best feeling when someone you helped says thanks.i wanted to be a fireman since i was little kid when my grandpa lived 3 blocks from a tulsa fire station that ran alot past their house. we would go down there and get to sit in the trucks and stuff. when we moved to the country we would set stuff on fire just to put it out and after 4 years of being a ff i still come unglued with excitement about what might have when we get calls. not many jobs are like that after 30yrs

  • Some of us are paid and most do it for free. We can run on half-eaten meals and an hour of sleep. We don't know you, but we know we want to protect you. We're spat on, cursed at and called names by the general public. The public that bitches when an engine rolls through, sirens and air horns blasting. The same public that dials 911 in their time of need. We get little to nothing for doing what we do. Its the greatest job in the world. So go ahead, keep criticizing us. See you when the tones drop

  • i dont care who the fuck you are or how fuckin arrogant you are....FIREFIGHTERS are the bravest of the brave, same with police and the armed forces...we all fight for your protection even if you dont deserve it. I will be a firefighter sworn in in 4 months and i respect ALL who fight for someone they dont even know and put their lives on the line, not for the paycheck, but for the love of the job and the compassion for everyone they encounter. GOD BLESS THE FIREFIGHTERS OF THIS WORLD.

  • @tat2firefighter

    Well said -Firefighter #225

  • So true, born not made.

    New Zealand. Auckland.

  • i was a fire fighter last time during my service for the nation. and i can tell u its not easy being a fire fighter. and i am proud to be one. SALUTE TO ALL THE FIRE FIGHTERS IN THE WORLD!

  • yeah. i love it. i love the excitement. the rush. the respect i am able to gain. and knowing i have the power to save lives.

  • im a firm believer in u dont choose firefighting it chooses u.

  • i'm a vol with UGVFD in alabama i have been a firefighter \ first responder for ten years now .... there is nothing better in the world then to help out other people ... we had one of the " political " candidates from this area come into our dept one day to get us to vote for them and told us that it took 3 of us volunteers to equal 1 paid firefighter ... needless to say he did not get any of our votes ...

  • cool du hast wirklich eingefangen was alle feuerweheleute denken und das ist dir super gelungen! RESPEKT!

  • i'm a firefighter in Nova Scotia Canada ive been on the volunteer dept for a year, and I am currently taking level 1 training, and about 11 months ago i decided this is definatly something i want to do for the rest of my life, city paid or volunteer, so long as i will live a fire fighter and die a fire fighter

  • In Scotland we have retained (volunteer) ff's. They have to do the same training and workload as Whole time. They are the better callaber of ff's. Wholetime do their 8hrs then get another watch to take over retained stay till the job is done. Retained have to do the same or sometimes more for less money and respect. Support them!

  • why i am a firefighter and how i can run in to a burning house when everyone is running out it is call being brave a ready to face fear head on and show no fear

  • unger that is uncalled for we give our lives for u and u just thik that we r expendable thats bs we r no expendable we r humans

  • @jbossman355 hey bro unger is just ignorant and lookin for an arguement. his views will change when one of us save his ass. Stay safe brother.

  • @duane32286 You said it he'll be thanking us when one of us pull his ass from a burning car wreck or building. God bless my brother

  • @unger520 wtf. volunteer firefighters are paid what there worth, so does that mean that since I dont get paid anything that im not worth anything. I am running in to a fire when you and your fellow office buddies are standing outside bitching that your job is too hard. I am the one saving someones life when they are in an accident. Dont make stupid comments that you dont know jack shit about.
