when you first begin using any wheel in the heel shoe itll take some adjusting to because your learning to use a muscle youve never used. (somewhere above your calves) thats why its a bit tricky to learn at the begining too. as for ankle, if your riding on them for a long time they do begin to hurt from holding them up unless your wearing the 2 wheeled models that dont require as much lifting to heel.

about all online stores have em not many stores have them in stock though. its WAAAAAAY harder to walk with 2 wheels and if you take out the front wheel, the back wheel is even more back so it hurts your ankles.
