i grew up here! its so crazy to watch this because i moved up to CT, where i was born, after living on the other side of A1A for 17 years. its so hard to watch. i miss it so much, but even if i still lived there today, it wouldnt look like this.

living there, me and all my friends would talk about how there could be so many tourists that we hated it. but we took it all for granted. we talked about how if we ever left, we would wonder why we never loved it. now i know. thanks for this video.

i remember when the beach was that big .. now if you go .. theres barely space to drive. The tide now gets real close to the condos/resorts/hotels. It doesn't take much to flood A1A now.

My first time behind the wheel was in a convertible rental, I was 14 in 1992 on vacation at my grandparent's house, an outsider, a hopeful, looking forward to my time as a spring breaker... and my mom knew we'd never have the money... I grew up watching MTV & Spring Break Daytona ... I drove the same strip as in your video!! That was my Spring Break experience! Loved it!
