For some reason I appreciate this (and all the World of Warcraft soundtracks) more when I'm listening to them here or on iTunes than I do when I hear them in game.

When I used to play I actually turned the in-game music off but had random WoW soundtracks playing in the background so when I was in, say Molten Core, I'd have festival music playing instead.

The ally music is always for epic and yet warming and awesome. the Horde is always so heavy and violent. I need the giant hugeness feeling from ally music. #FTW

the horde one is more happier, for my taste better, but alliance one is more fitting, and i think for rp things more suitable.

Horde--> party with food and alcohol, happy atmossphere

Alliance---> fun on turnament, preparations for the event, kights preparing for the fight

No, the two are different. The ship theme is much more distinct in its likeness to the ambiance of Northrend. This track is unique to the Midsummer Festival.
