Freddie, thanks for this tutorial series. Your book is very helpful! I'm in the process of creating a much more professional portfolio and my own comic series at the moment. You inspired me, man!
I was wondering, what would be the pros/cons of using Copic markers vs. a sketch and wash pencil, or a traditional ink wash?
I do not have much experience using Copics (I do not use them on a large scale)... the only time I use them is to do touch-ups to my traditional ink wash stuff, because in small areas, they look relatively the same as the ink wash stuff.
Wow Freddie! I enjoyed this technique a lot! One question for you, is it possible to achieve the gray wash effect with watercolor mediums ie pencil/paints? Thanks again for sharing. Take care.
Extremely helpful. I'm unable to afford art college unfortunately so you are my makeshift teacher for awhile. Thanks for being so thorough with process and materials.
From digital to finished art board, about 4 hours... took me a little longer than that with all the camera setup and other miscellaneous to do with making the video, and a WHOLE DAY TO RECORD AUDIO AND EDIT! Man I am slow with that stuff :)

I did not attend art school either - just a lot of self motivated study and hard work!
The internet is great for finding tutorials etc - I wish you the best in your art studies! :)
