Yes this track was originally done under the project name Umo Detic. I have it. It's Jollokin and Talla 2xlc under the new zone label. They released it a year later under their Bigod 20 project on Zoth Ommog so technically, they are one of the same. Classic track by the way!
Has anyone ever noticed that Bigod 20 videos seem to have a lot of hot chicks just kinda stuck in there for no real reason? I get the distinct impression that one band member was getting girls in the videos just for cool factor and cuz it helped score. Not that I'm judging it, I do it with my own videos!
I have everything Bigod20, skinny puppy, manufacture, I first heard this on the RADIO kj103 & I made a mixtape and i'm proud of my CDs now- like uh ONE, BOG, & on a compilation Liike a Prayer-
Industrial is my favorite type of music - and I don't dislike new industrial like that fast techno type like VNV, but I will always like this type best
Chick in the video looks like Juliette Lewis. I keep expecting Woody Harelson to bust in the door and start whackin' people with a shotgun like "Natural Born Killers."
it's true: they released this same track in europe under the name "umo detic" (on 'new zone'), in the u.s. under the alter ego "bigod 20" later (on 'sire' records, with "the bog" on b-side) .
Jallokin (Markus Nikolai) wrote two versions of Carpet Diem for Umo Detic and BiGod 20 in 1990. He wrote music & produced for boh bands. This is his BiGod 20 version.
jet07son - MicroChip League (MCL) recorded "New York, New York". I have it on vinyl but have no turntable. Can't download it anywhere that I know of. Great stuff. Must've played that song hundreds of times in 1989.
great song theres another song called new york new york but i cant think of the group its an industrial group or goth if anybody knows please let me know....

Quality diminished rapidly once Sony Acid 'Industrial loops' Kits began appearing. Now 9/10ths of the songs are made with the same computer loops.
