  • cool swords!!! thanks for posting!!! ありがとう

  • What could you possibly do with a real sword besides look at it explain it to me someone I know that martial arts people use them but let's face it swords don't have a place in the modern world anymore

  • Hey dude can I ask how did you manage to break that blade?... And cheness is made by Paul Chen, but it's another Paul Chen :P there are two paul chen's and they happen to have rivalling sword companies LOL

  • Very nice swords

  • i live in VA =D

  • Hey everyone, i'm offering to trade my sword. i'm a nationally ranked black belt, and I've used this sword in competitions, and I just want someone to have something that they can really appreciate. Anyways it's $200 and up, and it's newly refurbished. I've had it since 1994, so i don't have a receipt of the price. So if anyone is interested, hit me up. And my sword is 1095 Carbon Steel. I will not accept a stainless steel sword.

  • have you checked out cheness read the reviews at sword buyers guide online there putting Hanwei in there coffin these swords are tuff as nails and although not the great looks that hanwei blades have there dam near indistructable I still cant get over these new swords and ive been doing kenjutsu for 15 years have many hanwei blades and always found paul chen stuff pricy all cheness swords are around 300 bucks and just amazing cutters....

  • yea I own a cheness tenchi and honestly the swords are not as good for the martial practitioner as some would have you believe. The 9260 while tough has little edge retention. and the quality control on the fittings saya fuchi kashira tsuka are all horible. your better off getting a practical series or even saving up a little more and getting something in the performance line.

  • @Highlandersforever Even if this comment is 6 months old, I still gotta ask. Aren't Cheness swords and Hanwei swords owned/made by the same people? I thought Cheness was just a kind of sub division of Hanwei. I asked a question once to them and it was signed "Paul Chen," which is the same guy that owns Hanwei. I dunno. Just figured "Cheness" (Chen) was another clue for me, but I could be wrong. Be weird if they were two different places...

  • the fitings looks as if you bought antique

  • Hello friend i just want to ask a question i am thinking of getting a sword but i don't know which one to get i want either the ninja one or a samurai one can you help me out please:)

  • nice swords man :D

  • thanks

  • no probem :)

  • I have pumpkin staining on my practical XL.. what did you use to get it off?

  • I originally used tarn-x but that didn't work 100%

I recently tried 2000grit wet'or'dry sand paper available at walmart for 3-4$

the 2000grit is high enough that it wont dull the shinogi-ji. be carefull though, if you use it too long you'll take off the enhanced hamon.

i was surprised at how quickly it went.

btw, make sure you wet the sand paper with some 3 in 1 oil or water. good luck and let me know how it turns out.

  • Nice, thanks! Let you know when I get some time to clean it. Were did you train in Richmond Va? Thats where Im at.

  • koryo dojo on three chopt rd.

  • Hanwei are probably the best swords you can get in martial arts shop dude(to penkibudos).

Anyway very nice collection I'm just keeping cash for practical katana from Hanwei( I don't know why in my country it costs much more than in american on-line shops :/ )

  • Great collection, my swords are no where as nice as those babies.

  • Man u suck! And your "swords"...

    U dont trust your hadle : D

    u are funny

  • do something productive with your waste of a life

  • come on... broken blades, untrustible handles... I think u don't even saw a real katana in your life.

I was in Japan, talked with katana swordsmiths and saw how they make them and I think it's much more productive then living other peoples life, imagine that u are samurai, fucking your own life and think that u are living a LIFE.

  • All of these swords are hanwei swords. you can not compare them to nihonto. and how you can plainly see I have real swords so your stupid comment doesn't make sense.

you talk about me fucking my life? your the one is trolling around on youtube leaving negative comments on everyone's videos like asciniblue's Iraq War Raw Combat Footage and Awsumdave's The Matrix Revealed - Full movie.

stop trolling and do something productive with your waste of a life

  • Yes sir, from now I'll change my life. U are so dumb

  • That's a beautiful collection. I have the Wave Daisho from Bugei and an alloy iaito, but it was made in Japan and my sensei handled all of the ordering. I hear Hanwai makes great products.

  • yea I'm really happy with hanwei, right now I'm trying to branch out a bit, I'm thinking of getting a ryumon next

  • Nice, i love that bushido katana. 5/5

  • Wow mate

we have two of the same swords -

    The 4th gen practical katana

    and the PC Bushido

the older 4th gen PK - is way better than the later gen 5's and the new PK lite .

PC Bushido - for the staining on the blade try a thin smearing of oil then on top of that tap you uchiko powder ball on the blade and wipe off - it will take a lot of goes but it will move the stain and improve the hamon from just the normal frosty white hanwei one .

  • Thanks for the tips. but I tried that when I got the sword. the stain is quite deep. I'm waiting to here back from someone on some specific chemicals. but if that doesn't work I'll have to get the sword re polished.
