  • HAHAHAHA right after seeing "blue" i was like " damn this goan be tough"

  • do i have to say it like im retarded?

  • How do you say "we are friends" and "happy easter" in Zulu?

  • very intresting. i want to see more of those southern african languages.

  • sawu, emazulu. icabanga icaca oluhlazaokwesibhakabhaka ukuba okwa + isibhakabhaka.

  • ummm shorter way to say blue, please.

  • Zulu doesn't have a word for blue. Both green and blue are called 'Luhlaza' and 'Luhlaza okwesibhakabhaka' is simply a more specific term for the shade blue, it actually means 'Luhlaza of the sky'

  • @BitchinnShoes07 lol u r right xD

  • @BitchinnShoes07 Just long to write, not long to pronounce.

  • you're saying 'luhlaza okwa isibhakabhaka' which, because of the vowel clash, becomes luhlaza okwesibhakabhaka.

But you are correct, the correct translation if colour of the sky

  • LOL @ Blue

  • pink , orange clearly european influence

  • I love Zulu! It has a sing-song quality to it.

  • Actually, clicks exist in Zulu as well. They are written in both languages as c, q, and x.

  • No words with clicks in them this time. Interesting way of saying blue.

  • does blue translate to "green without yellow" or something? XD

  • yeah looks like it does

  • it is "green of the sky"

  • all that to say blue O_o

  • DeMichaelsuperfan, looks like i'll never say blue. LOL

  • lol! it's referring to the sky! because to say sky is isibhakabhaka
