The part you leave out is that Conservative supporters all over Youtube spread a predominant theme of racial intolerance. It is everywhere on Youtube, and predominantly in regard to muslims (esp in Alberta) and french-speaking Canadians. There is a strong thread of racial intolerance that runs through this party....and you have never acknowledged it. You are leading people down a partisan dumbed down path. You would earn more respect by thinking for yourself, rather than playing partisan.

Just a poor choice of words, and they turn it into a tempest in a teapot.
"Ethnic Costume" or "National Folklore Costumes" is not much different from "Traditional Ethnic Garments" or "National Folklore Garments".
Željko Zidarić was speaking from the Croatian-Canadian perspective, where in that community the term "costume" is used.
As a Greek-Canadian, I do not walk down the street everyday with my foustanella and would therefore call it a "costume".
