britt plays guitar so simple but his composing makes it something else. its the riffs you play around with when jammin but think are to simple to make a song with. technique makes you good but composing is where its at

I was listening to my ipod (which has a tendency to die rather quickly) today while mowing the lawn and decided to listen to this album. When it got to the end of the song, I thought my ipod had died... To my credit its been awhile since I'd last listened to Transference. Usually go for Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, but I love this album too.

I have a serious question for Spoon fans. Are there any Michael Jackson songs you like? I was watching some Fosse (to hopefully apply the style to a Spoon song), and realized that Snake in the Grass definitely influenced MJ; MJ's dance style is like a funked up and sharper version of Fosse's style, and the song being played in comparison was Bille Jean, which has been, like, the only song I really liked by MJ. I noticed Billie had only percussion and vocals (that i could hear). Is it just me?
