Prof. Ikerd worked a career in the agricultural economics area, there could hardly be a better informed individual. His talk reflects an unusual synthesis of *all* the perspectives, moral as well as technical. I happen to agree with his conclusions :-)

John Ikerd actually understands what is going on with the economy and how peak oil is going to push us into a new era. His entire speech is worth hearing, especially live.
