i am getting a eratix 3d and im going to put the big servos that i have not in use do you thank i need a 46 brushless motor or go with the 32 brushless???
isnt it great when a plan comes together.. i was 14 when i flew my first plane
hey im subscribed to your vids.. so i will be keeping in touch... if thats ok with everybody on that end...again... keep up the killer flying...ill be watching
lol i am 12 years old, and i was somehow able to save up $1000 in a little under a year. i worked at my parent's office for $7 an hour every now and then.
Good flight man !!!! I have sold 3 ERATIX airplanes for E-FLITE .They see me fly my plane they must have one.I am a super crazy I put all the thows to the MAX it will roll like a top.
thanks! I set the rates for 3D to the recommended range. i havent done enough experimentation with the 3D rates on the plane, so i dont know if i need to change them. but when this plane is in high rates (second flight) it is extremely responsive. it rolls very quickly, and you can pop it up instantly with full elevator. anyways, thanks for the comment!
Yes you are right my planes are hard to land !! you have to fly in fast to land or make a tail draging harrier landing ,that is what do most the time.
exactly why i make sure that my planes are nose heavy. tail heavy planes need to be forced to go to the ground! and if you dont do it soon enough, then it will stall out and fall out of the sky.
I use DU-BRO Landing Injection molded out of state-of-the-art material it will no't brake.Harrier landing are on problem.I did a dead stick landing in the ruff it hit so hard one of the wheels hit the wing and on problem.
I did no't say what air plane I landed in the ruff it was a Twist 3D 40 ARF by Hangar 9 at the time it was powed by a power 60 by E-flite with 8 A123's but it is has a now a GMS .76 glow power.
Thanks! I actually do have 3D rates set up, but the first flight was on low rates except for the rudder. The second flight I used 3D rates on it, and it still flew extremely well! It was just much much more maneuverable. Thanks for the comment!
Hey, dont say that the credit goes to E-Flite on this one! Long flight, 8 mins, and it looks great, very powerful, and takes off and lands really nicely, just like the big ones - a smooth three-pointer. I really like this plane! Plus i saw that prop-hanging there!
Great job and good that you dont have any problems opertaing from your field.
Thanks! This plane sure flies nicely. I am just saying, that E-Flite really did a great job on the design of the aircraft. I am sure that many people could have pulled off a maiden flight with this plane that was just as good as the one that I did on Saturday.
Also, the plane flies so slowly, that I really didn't need to worry about the size of my field. The plane is almost impossible to stall! Really amazing, I think! Thanks for the comment!
Thanks! Lol me being young shouldn't have to do with anything! In fact, younger people learn to fly these faster than adults! I was 8 years old when I learned to fly, and I picked up on it at the first lesson. I was even doing landings by the 4th! But anyway, thanks a lot for the comment!
I know, there is a ton of power. Even though I am only using a 3 cell battery! If I used a 4 cell... man that thing would go off like a rocket! Thanks for the comment!
Thanks a lot! This plane was so easy to fly, that it took almost no skill to fly at all! The credit really goes to E-Flite on this one! Thanks for the comment!
Yea that plane is awesome. The only problems were a broken ESC, some trouble with the pushrods, and I damaged a few screws. But it still held back the maiden flight more than a month! Thanks for the comment!
you fly it with 3s batery?

@nickosmal Yes, the battery is a 3s 11.1v 4450mah lipo battery

@mattamos123 Go with the 32 brushless. It is way more than enough power for 3D.

A tail heavy is super responsive, but on the ERATIX I don't know why on the ERATIX it don't make much differences .I have move the cg back and forth.
crazyflyboy30 2 years ago
i like my planes to be nose heavy. it tracks much better, and they are easier to land. also, tail heavy planes are more prone to tip stalls

Good job on the maiden. 3D planes like this always fly really well, as long as they dont' have 3D throws setup, then they track great

ditchit 2 years ago
Thanks! I have on the plane a 3 Cell 4450mah 25C battery on it. You can go up to 4 cells, but I think 3 Cells still gives it plenty of power.
