  • you fly it with 3s batery?

  • @nickosmal Yes, the battery is a 3s 11.1v 4450mah lipo battery

  • i am getting a eratix 3d and im going to put the big servos that i have not in use do you thank i need a 46 brushless motor or go with the 32 brushless???

  • @mattamos123 Go with the 32 brushless. It is way more than enough power for 3D.

  • what kind of problems did you have

  • Nice vid and kewl plane keep it up!!

  • Thanks

  • Than You for comment horyzonflyer9.

Eratix is my best plane ever! It´s fly slow or fast... Strong 3D aerobatics-> NO PROBLEM...

  • off the computer now? did a good job!! keep up the great flying!!!...rcplanetim

    5 stars for sure!!

  • thanks a lot! i will keep flying this. im going every few weeks, and i have 10 flights on it now

  • Very nice 5 Stars

  • thank you

  • Maiden flights don't get much sweeter than that!

    Great flight

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Alright Mike! I was looking forward to seeing this. I guess I missed it when you first posted it. Good job!

  • thanks!

  • Very Nicely done. A nice plane for sure and great TO and Landings. 5 stars.

  • thanks a lot! this plane sure is great, i have 8 flights on it so far and it is still awesome. especailly with 3D :)

  • sweet flying bruv ;) 5*

  • Thanks a lot! I am really loving this plane :)

  • wow $1,035? Im only 14 and i cant believe that you can get something for that much. I have a blade cx3 and blade mcx, so yeah lol.

  • lol i am 12 years old, and i was somehow able to save up $1000 in a little under a year. i worked at my parent's office for $7 an hour every now and then.

  • lol nice haha but good job on the mcx video :)

  • thanks

  • do you have the blade mcx or cx3?

  • blade mcx

  • any mods you did or something?

  • nope

  • oh ok.

    lol im board

  • How much was it?

  • It was around $!,035, but it could have cost more since I already had some supplies laying around to use on it.

  • Nice plane man, oh, and what is this song called?....sounds like coldplay though.

  • Good flight man !!!! I have sold 3 ERATIX airplanes for E-FLITE .They see me fly my plane they must have one.I am a super crazy I put all the thows to the MAX it will roll like a top.

  • thanks! I set the rates for 3D to the recommended range. i havent done enough experimentation with the 3D rates on the plane, so i dont know if i need to change them. but when this plane is in high rates (second flight) it is extremely responsive. it rolls very quickly, and you can pop it up instantly with full elevator. anyways, thanks for the comment!

  • A tail heavy is super responsive, but on the ERATIX I don't know why on the ERATIX it don't make much differences .I have move the cg back and forth.

  • i like my planes to be nose heavy. it tracks much better, and they are easier to land. also, tail heavy planes are more prone to tip stalls

  • Yes you are right my planes are hard to land !! you have to fly in fast to land or make a tail draging harrier landing ,that is what do most the time.

  • exactly why i make sure that my planes are nose heavy. tail heavy planes need to be forced to go to the ground! and if you dont do it soon enough, then it will stall out and fall out of the sky.

  • I use DU-BRO Landing Injection molded out of state-of-the-art material it will no't brake.Harrier landing are on problem.I did a dead stick landing in the ruff it hit so hard one of the wheels hit the wing and on problem.

  • I did no't say what air plane I landed in the ruff it was a Twist 3D 40 ARF by Hangar 9 at the time it was powed by a power 60 by E-flite with 8 A123's but it is has a now a GMS .76 glow power.

  • Most excellent!

  • Thank you!

  • Good job on the maiden. 3D planes like this always fly really well, as long as they dont' have 3D throws setup, then they track great

  • Thanks! I actually do have 3D rates set up, but the first flight was on low rates except for the rudder. The second flight I used 3D rates on it, and it still flew extremely well! It was just much much more maneuverable. Thanks for the comment!

  • Nice job! Looks like this plane is a keeper. :) Good handling and super landing! Nice 1st flight all around.

  • Hell yea this plane is a keeper! I really love it. The first flight was amazing, and I am extremely happy with it. Thanks for the comment!

  • That was awesome, that takeoff was so fast o.o

    Congrats!!!! Nice flying

  • Thanks a lot! This plane screams power! I was taken by surprise on takeoff, because I was only on 3/4 throttle! Thanks for the comment!

  • sweet maiden bruv plane flies great innit? 5* ;)

  • Yep that plane flies great! Thanks!

  • no worries :~) btw got the apology and just the once too must of been a utube glitch :)

  • Hey, dont say that the credit goes to E-Flite on this one! Long flight, 8 mins, and it looks great, very powerful, and takes off and lands really nicely, just like the big ones - a smooth three-pointer. I really like this plane! Plus i saw that prop-hanging there!

Great job and good that you dont have any problems opertaing from your field.

    Sheldon

  • Thanks! This plane sure flies nicely. I am just saying, that E-Flite really did a great job on the design of the aircraft. I am sure that many people could have pulled off a maiden flight with this plane that was just as good as the one that I did on Saturday.

Also, the plane flies so slowly, that I really didn't need to worry about the size of my field. The plane is almost impossible to stall! Really amazing, I think! Thanks for the comment!

  • Thats OK! I wish you good luck with it.

    Sheldon

  • Mike,

    one word: AWESOME!

I know you are young, but

    Cheers!

  • Thanks! Lol me being young shouldn't have to do with anything! In fact, younger people learn to fly these faster than adults! I was 8 years old when I learned to fly, and I picked up on it at the first lesson. I was even doing landings by the 4th! But anyway, thanks a lot for the comment!

  • Oh ,no I mean young for "cheers", not young to fly, I am sorry for the confusion !

    Regards

    Georgi

  • it ok!

  • looks like it flys real nice

  • Oh yeah it flew amazingly. The second flight was the best so far! I even started doing some 3D maneuvers!

  • Sweet Plane Seem Like There's Hella Power There

  • I know, there is a ton of power. Even though I am only using a 3 cell battery! If I used a 4 cell... man that thing would go off like a rocket! Thanks for the comment!

  • Mike that maiden was fantastic !!!

Well done. long time coming, but worth the wait i'm sure. lol

8 minute flight , wow, I bet that lamington soft spot landing felt good huh, lol

Very nice plane, thanks for getting the maiden on vid for us.

    cheers

  • Thanks so much! Yep that landing sure felt good! I never thought that a maiden flight could go so well. Thanks again, man!

  • congratulations on the flight

    greetings

  • Thank you

  • Nice maiden and nice flying. Congrats on the completion of the project. :-)

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Nice job mate. How many cells in that bird?

  • Thanks! I have on the plane a 3 Cell 4450mah 25C battery on it. You can go up to 4 cells, but I think 3 Cells still gives it plenty of power.

  • Awesome landing, clean and soft, the way all landings should be. Congratulations !!! Nice plane.

  • Thanks a lot! This plane was so easy to fly, that it took almost no skill to fly at all! The credit really goes to E-Flite on this one! Thanks for the comment!

  • Shes a Beauty, amazing project, well done and Congratulations. 5 stars

  • thanks a lot!

  • Way awesome. Takeoff was beautiful. Great work on this plane.

  • thanks!the second flight was even better, i even had some 3D in it! too bad i didnt record it. but anyway thanks for the comment!

  • Cool! I look forward to seeing maybe more videos of you flying it. :)

  • i cant wait to fly it again! :)

  • Awesome,

  • thanks!

  • Wow! What a great plane. It's hard to believe you had trouble building it.

  • Yea that plane is awesome. The only problems were a broken ESC, some trouble with the pushrods, and I damaged a few screws. But it still held back the maiden flight more than a month! Thanks for the comment!
