awe how cute a little 3a racing muffler. man the car is nice but it needs a full exhaust. get headers, high flow cat and new muffler and she will scream. then throw in a air intake and turbo lol. but anyways its a really good street car to start with.

AEM is a good brand. Pretty pricey though. I would just get an intake off of Ebay instead. There is going to be almost no difference in performance. All your paying for when you get a big name intake is the logo on the side. :)

It came with the car.  But you might be able to find one some where on the internet. It makes the engine look cleaner :D

Ah the 16 valve 2.0L, (dohc I am pretty sure, rarely sohc does a job of a dohc)  Have you considered headers? They are surprisingly cheap on ebay, I have not, yet, ordered some, because they say they work with the dohc up til 99 or so, I have an 05, so yeah. It sounds like the tuners for the 2.0L engines work pretty well, I just have not found any that are for the 2.0L only the 2.4 turbo srt4. Good to see someone having fun and playing korn with a neon!

that is a SOHC. the 2gns only come SOHC...the 1gn comes in SOHC or DOHC...

I have not taken the valve cover off, yet. But on the valve cover, it says 16 valve,( 4 cylinders and 4 valves per cylinder). So the one cam (singe overhead cam) runs the 4 valves per cylinder like a Honda dirtbike engine? (not all Honda dirtbikes)

hey try OBX headers, thats what i have, they work really good, and if you wanna go a step farther, get the down pipe also, both togather make the sound great and proformance is easly noticable, if you wanna no what it sounds and looks like, check out my videos.
