i do it a bit different the way you do it is a little more complex but still the same basic princable. and Z4kk3h is right i use this as a false cut in nearly all my tricks because its easy it looks cool, is very effective and makes any trick that uses a false cut look much cooler good job

When I try do the reverse pivot with half the deck, I turn the top half anti clockwise as in video, but it then rolls on my nail and slides onto floor... :P

I know this is an old video but really as a beginner this is a good an innovative tutorial. Once you learn the swing and pivot, you can then create your own flourishes. Overall a pretty good tutorial.

Yeah, ths was the first video i've shot where i had to speak the whole time. And since i didnt take the time to write a script, i just winged it. So all the umm's and likes were me trying to think of what to say next. Dont worry though, if you look at my other tutorials i think i've grown out of this habit a little bit.

Yeah, this is a false cut. The "flourish" part of it is to distract people from the fact that it is a false cut. Instead of thinking "Hey, he didn't really cut the cards," they think "Ooh, cool."
