I agree and disagree @ Flippy. Movies like this have stood the test of time, but for all the great movies made back then, there were a lot of crappy ones as well. just like now, there are some great films, but a lot of crap too. At the moment we 'see' the crappy movies, because they're being advertised, but there will be those that are made today that stand the test of time, and in 20 years we'll see the same kind of debate going on about those films! The movies I saw when I was growing up compared to some of the movies that are coming out for children today were so creative and astounding that the movies made today do not hold a torch. Some kids movies are funny these days but they are all so generic, typical and easily stand out as a mind numbing kids movies. Movies such as this exceed the creative line.
