i really wish this game had a online play. it would be so awesome. like gta4's online were you have to pertect the boss in cops and robbers, or free roam were you go around killing cops and playing with your friends. and then to top it all of, you can create your online character. for instance, choosing what clothes he wares(not just a suit, but you could choose, hat, gloves, glasses, socks, ect), what his face looks like (nose, brow, chin, cheeks, ect.), skin type, and much more.

also like GTA4 you could do races. that would be the coolest game ever. i think mafia 2 is a awesome game. but they missed some things like online, car damage, and custimization, both to your own guy and your car.(not so much your car but your character.) when i say car damage i mean more destructive car damage like GTA4 because if you look at mafia 2's car damage compared to GTA4'S car damage, GTA tottally wins. so bassically i think they could have done alittle better in those area's.

@LordSorontur uhh, let me think, I think they were $10 each. Make sure that you get the jimmy packs and not just a car pack. The car pack will not allow you to have extended gameplay. And lastly, before making your purchase, check inside the case your mafia2 disc came in and see if you dont have a keycode for one of the jimmy packs.

Great game. It's like a movie and it doesn't lag. Gta IV only works well with xbox 360 :/ it lags on PC but Mafia II is designed well for PC

@nightmaster552 I patched. For some reason GTA IV takes about 2-3gb ram O_o with low settings without shadows. Mafia 2 works perfectly with pretty high settings and even while I installed GTA IV for fast hard drive what had enough memory but Mafia 2 was installed for slower hard drive

Plus, the city in GTA 4 is just absolutely DEAD. You never see the shit happening you do in Mafia 2. The city in Mafia 2 is truly dynamic, where GTA 4's city is not.

@EnglisIsBackAgain If you enjoyed GTA IV alot. *WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILERS*. There is no free roam, however you can take your time and have a free roam in between missions. Alot of missions, cars and features were cut. However, I enjoyed it very much. Then again, I'm a nutjob who played through GTA IV's singleplayer 24 times. So you can imagine just how much I like games that are similar to GTA. If you are unsure, I would say rent it. Buy it if you like it.
