  • At .27 he says Chivile instead of Chevrolet

  • this guy is cool ! SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM . speed balance ha

  • Graham was a cross between Dusty Rhodes and Hulk Hogan in his promo style.

  • The major difference between Flair, Hogan, and the Superstar is that Billy knew when it was time to hang it up. Even at an older age though Flair and Superstar still had it, Hogan can't honestly say that. Not knocking Hogan, just stating what I believe to be true.

  • "How you gonna deal with the man of steel?" "What you gonna do with you know who?" "How you gonna act when you get Superstar attacked?"

Man, why'd I take so long to find this cat? Billy Graham is cooler than a fan.

  • Nature Boy Slicky Ricky Flair.

  • who's your daddy big poppa pumps ......... superstar

  • I keep telling people that Chael Sonnen is copying "Superstar" Billy Graham and this just proves it.

  • this guy blames steroids for every problem in his life, take credit for some yourself

  • awesome. very few rasslers today have this charisma. They all look the same these days, like out of one mold.

  • If it wasn't for Superstar Billy Graham you wouldn't have had Hulk Hogan,Jesse Venture,or Ric Flair.

  • Hulk Hogan disliked this

  • So sad that his health is failing. It is very probable that we will no longer have the superstar with us by the end of the year.

  • Cant believe Chael is such a swagger Jagger....what a douche

  • thumbs up if chael sonnen brought you here

  • @dickbuttAIDS Who?

  • So many wrestlers mimicked him: Scott Steiner, Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan

  • @2arunout seems like great minds think alike before i scrolled down to read comments i thought the same thing you said but just mentioned hulk hogan

  • Your fault, his fault, San Andreas fault!! Billy Graham was great!! :)

  • How long ago was this? 84? 83?

  • would of been nice to see him take it off flair

  • Good Dusty impersonation.

  • Who was the Superstar not the biggest star ever? The muscle of Terry Bolea, the fashion sense of jessie the body ventura, the voice of the American Dream?

  • what the hell is this?? Ive always thought that hogan was original and made wrestling. Now this dude pops up on my monitor and turn everything upside down. So hogan is actually a copy, or should i say- "inspired" by this guy ?? Hell.. i gotta start watching vintage wrestling now and build up some kind of knowledge!!

  • I see Hogan, Savage, and Rhodes in this guy. I don't know who started first or who influenced who, but i was immediately reminded of those 3 when I started watching this clip. This is my first time seeing who Billy Graham is.

  • @TheodoreMcFail Graham is the matrix.

  • Dude was friggin jacked for the 80s!!!!!

  • @iverar He was jacked even ten years before this, SBG was way ahead of his time.

  • @iverar umm, thats because he was the biggest steroid abuser of his time. He was one of the first guys that found out that steroids fuck your body up, and know he is crippled.

  • Oh my god, this man is the "Big Bang of Style"! I'm not a big wrestling expert but even I can imediately see like five or six wrestlers that were either influenced by him or directly copied parts of his great style.

  • all these wrestlers everyone is comparing him to were All directly ifluenced by him

  • Even the credits at the end are a classic "Dusty Finish"...

    Producer: Virgil Runnels.

  • Comment removed

  • Jimmy Valiant talks like that too.

  • wow now i know where Big Poppa Pump got his routine from lol

  • @cocotu1 your such a mark

  • What date was this? Great interview by Superstar!

  • Wow, Hogan pretty much copied all of Superstar Billy Graham's catch phrases. He just did it better. Plus the younger generation at the time didn't know who Graham was.

  • @chiquidean Jesse Ventura copied Grahams style witht he tye dyes, weird outfts, and guys like him, Hogan, Rhodes, etc should bow to this man!

  • @chiquidean When he returned to WWF in 1987 for a short run, they sure gave us a nice history lesson on the Superstar.

  • would of been cool to see him take the belt of flair.and how many that copied him can we name????????

  • Now we all know where Dusty got his style from. Copied it from this guy. Hogan as well.

  • He's like Hulk Hogan with Dolamite's flow hehehe

  • Yeah, so many imitated Billy.. he's one of the greatest!

  • Hogan, Ventura, and Steiner all ripped off the Superstar.

  • @spider1974 not to mention HHH and Macho Man

  • he talks to much

  • Superstar is older than Dusty and Hogan stole is whole image deal, Superstar was the innovator...the rest are copycats!!!

  • @nahpoli Its plagerizem at its best.

  • ...what the hell is he talking about?

  • @Piledriver86 no ide, but he does it so well

  • more like dusty rhodes voice and big poppa pumps body..lmao.. if dusty and superstar graham had a baby it would be big poppa pump scott steiner

  • Ric Flair ripped off Buddy Rogers, Hogan ripped off Billy Graham. Its that simple.

  • @SethBrundleify They all took from each other. Very few have grudges over it. Not a big deal.

  • Actually darkchild,it was Vince Sr. still running the show at that time.Jr. WANTED Superstar to keep the title.

  • Hulk Hogam. Ventura and Savage ripped off the Superstar. NO DOUBT!

  • why mcmahon ever took the belt off hm to give it to bachlund I will never know. neither did samartino or superstar from the shoots I have heard.

  • The Original!

  • His rant is mostly jibberish, but his delivery and rhythm were hilarious....

  • hulk hogan + dusty rhodes + randy savage + ric flair + scott steiner + chris jericho + jesse ventura=superstar billy graham.

  • Who is this white Mr.T lol

  • @jenbunny1984 No, "Mr T" was a BLACK Superstar Billy Graham!!! Billy Graham was FIRST!

  • And now he's on the "Foodstamp System!", and the "Burn Those Bridges" system. I like the part where he said "system" though.

  • THE SUPERSTAR SHOULD THANX ALI ... BILLY GRAHAM SHOULD HAVE HAD A LONGER TITLE REIGN IN THE WWF ... VINCE JR DROPPED THE BALL AGAIN ....

  • xD He sounds like a combination of Scott Stiener and Dusty Rhodes.

  • Wow! Scott Steiner lifted his whole routine from Billy Graham. However, he just didn't have the mic skills like the superstar had.

  • @cuban252 Yeah, there's a lot about how Hogan ripped off Billy Graham's image and style completely, but Steiner did it even more. Hulk moved away from the Billy Graham image a bit while he was Hollywood Hogan, but Steiner never stopped being a pathetic rip-off. And when the steroids got to his brain, he just fell apart.

  • @WashingtonElevators : And Jesse.

  • The Superstar's arms are so big he's got to take them in to the shop to get them speed balanced, and Nature Boy "Slicky Ricy Flair", then the belt has asphalt, Graham was awesome one interviews.

  • Before there was Hulk Hogan, there was Superstar Billy Graham.

  • @speedbuggy before there was Hogan, Flair, or Rhodes---- there was the Superstar! All 3 of em have said that they patterned themselves after Superstar to some extent- and Superstar? Who did he emmulate... Muhammad Ali, who had said that he copied... Georgeous George! talk about 6 degrees of separation!

  • the original...........

  • the American Dream, Slic Ric, and the Hulkster all peeled parts off the Superstar

  • White southerners, got soul!

  • that promo was actually pretty dope..hahah.

  • The microwave system??

  • Could he sound more black?

  • Now you see and hear Billy in a new video, Don't Bleed On Me.

    Seriocity

  • Damn I though I was watching Big Poppa Pump! LMAO!

  • The Super Star sounds like Dusty Rhodes. Who stole what from whom.

  • @TheLizardKing1967 Neither. It was just a way of speaking both of them had, and where very exceptional at.

No one stole anything from anyone.

  • If you put a picture of Tony Schiavone next to one of Randy Marsh, the resemblance is amazing.

  • @Northwro

    it's so true....good one!

  • Unbelievable tan.

  • He looks the same now as he did then.

  • I went to a match at the spectrem in philly. It was Billy Graham against Bruno Samartino in a steel cage match. Billy Graham won by being the first to escape the ring as I remember. The Idea was to prevent your opponent from escaping the cage by all means posible. It was a very bloody match.

  • @TheVernon52 i was there....miss those days so much..........they made us pay for the the good matches!

  • He talks like Dusty or Dusty talks like him hehe.

  • Not one of the current gen wrestlers can hold a candle to the charismatic Graham. Only person I can think of is the Miz when he hits his prime.

  • He sounds and looks like George Foreman.

  • Graham's the fuckin' man.

  • Sounds like Dusty Rhodes stuck in hulk Hogans body Whoooo!

  • @dvick8243567 Yo' moron, Rhodes emulated the Superstar. Rhodes said so himself. Know your history. GEEZ!

  • @dvick8243567

    With Rick Flairs ego.

  • Asphalt? Lol.

  • Does anyone know who this guy is? He is so hot. I want to suck his dick.

  • hope your a women!

  • The incredible colorful character 'Superstar" Billy Graham...

  • Can't believe some of the comments. Hogan and the like Jessie The Body copied SuperStar Billy Graham.

SuperStar was doing all this before Hogan.

Come on peeps. Clue yourself up first.

  • Elton John called,he want's his glasses back!

  • This was as coherent as Scott Steiner.

  • he reminds me of the hulkster, hulk hogan!

  • @BrooksMusicOfficial Please tell me you are not serious. Superstar Billy Graham was who Hogan copied! He was the original.

  • Damn Superstar could bust a rhyme.

  • Superstar is one of the ALL TIME BEST mic men in the business. I'd rank Roddy Piper and Superstar as the two best.

  • i love graham but he doesnt sound like hogan he sounds like dusty. He does the lisp ans all that shit. this is funny as hell.

  • @mrpogo72 Correction - Dusty sounds like the Superstar! Superstar was packing out auditoriums way before Dusty was ever heard of.

  • After hearing this and how much he sounded like Hulk Hogan, I am surprised the crowd didn't start chanting "HOGAN, HOGAN.." even though it's an NWA tv show, because he literally was immitating Hogan, and I thought that if there were any "Hulkamaniacs" (Hogan fans) that they would have booed Billy for the copying and start chanting "HOGAN, HOGAN"

  • @xhemexx you got that all backwards.

  • @xhemexx PLEASE tell me you are not that ignorant! Ogan copied EVERYTHING from the Superstar. The Superstar was doing his thing before Hogan hit puberty!

  • Not sure why people rag on Hogan and Steiner when they watch a Graham promo. I'm 45 and was THE hugest Superstart mark but all these guys took from each other and Hogan was 10 times the drawer that Graham or Steiner were. Let's just face facts. Also read Superstar's book. He has ZERO ill will towards Hogan. Graham stole from Ali. Who cares. Enjoy!

  • @aitraining At least one wrestling fan on this comments page has it right.

  • lol could the end be any more 80's

  • Wow this guy really was an inspiration for alot of different wrestlers that came after.

Great respect is due, it's just a shame he became sterile after all the use of steroids.

  • He sounds exactly like Dusty Rhodes.

  • @CameronSwift16 You mean Dusty Rhodes sound exactly like him. LOL

  • Hogan may have taken influence from him, but this man talks exactly like the greatest sports personality ever.......MUHAMMAD ALI !!!

  • No...Hulk Hogan NEVER did anything original.

  • @BenAndersonify WHAT?? what are you talking about, Hogan did the bald on top with long blond hair look!!....Oh wait, Billy did that before him too.

  • Now that's how you work the mike baby.

  • SCOTT STEINER, DAMMMMM

  • @kassop I was gonna say dude sounds like a coherent Scott Steiner.

  • This guy is hot. I want to suck his dick.

  • This is the man who chiefly inspired the young Hulk Hogan. The beard, the bleach-blond hair, calling his arms "pythons" and "the largest arms in the world," and saying "Whatcha gonna do..." It's all there. Unfortunately I never had a chance to see him wrestle. Interesting to see that the Georgia territory of NWA was called WCW even then.

  • at 1:55 mark check out the Producer..Virgil Runnels----DUSTY RHODES...

  • simply the best!

  • How in the world di Graham get so big?!?!

  • @bluethunder25 Steroids like crazy.

  • Didn`t Rowdy Roddy Piper or the Iron Sheik cripple him?

  • @hardon70 No, it was Greg Valentine.

  • @Lfdjake91 Greg `The Hammer¨ Valentine?

  • hes a legend. it a shame hes not doin so well.

  • Dusty Rhodes and Superstar Graham~Black man impersonators.

  • He sounds like my drunk uncle.

  • @J5MARLON I think we all know somebody like the SUPERSTAR!

  • before there was a big bad booty daddy a.k.a. the genetic freak a.k.a. big poppa pump scott steiner the was the superstar baby!!!!

  • i use to think he was hogans father back when i first started watching wrestling lmao

  • Hogan took parts from Graham and Ventura, just like Rock took from Graham, Hogan, and Flair, just as Cena is a Rock/Stone Cold/Eminem ripoff.

Superstar went from WWF to who knows where to WWF to Florida to WWF then to WCW.

  • best promo ever!!!

  • Producer: Virgil Runnels AKA Dusty Rhodes

  • Graham was the best and the ORIGINAL!!!

  • hogan stole not only the look, but this very promo verbatim.many times.

  • Man, WCW on TBS was THE SHIT!!! So great

  • @DaniloCamargo very funny great reely

  • Superstar Billy Graham? In fuckin WCW? What the fuck? I thought he was WWF/E all the way.

  • @jmoon219 Graham (like most others back then) worked most of the territories. Graham was AWA and NWA areas before his WWF championship tenure. He then had a Georgia run here in the mid 80's after his 2nd run at Backlund - before coming back to WWF for his 3rd final push. Pre hip, surgery etc. Graham was pretty shot here (georgia 80's). Read his bio book. It is great!

  • graham was the man! he could sue so many for gimmick infringement but when you meet him in person, hes the nicest and most laid back dude on earth.

  • man, hes rappin like nas out there!

  • Dusty stole from him.

    Savage stole from him.

    Hogan stole from him.

  • @JuliusRage

    "Precious" Paul Ellering

    Scott Steiner

    Jesse "The Body" Ventura

  • Is he drunk?

  • @admiremuscle no, just super cool.

  • @WashingtonElevators EXACTLY :D

  • @WashingtonElevators dont you mean hulk hogan ?

  • just like dynamite kid made chris benoit

  • people said that scott steiner ripped off Billy Graham, because of his beard..wtf...it's similar, but it's not nearly a copycat.

  • I wasnt born til 88' but damn I always gotta youtube this mans epic promos! Such captivating intriguing promos this man gave back in the day. I rather watch this stuff than todays crap! My fav on the mic :)

  • Spoken like a true crazy hobo.

  • Scott Steiner should send Mr. Graham a couple of checks.

  • I feel like im watching a Dusty Rhodes promo.

  • @45Yankeeclipper The cycle of who ripped off who is pretty amazing. Dusty, Hogan, Scott Steiner and Austin Idol all ripped off Superstar. The Rock in turn got his shtick from Austin Idol and John Cena had admitted his character was inspired by Dusty Rhodes.

  • @RSXemperor Of couse I've notice that from many big time superstars for example:

    Chris Benoit: Dynamite Kid

    Stone Cold: David Schultz

    Carilto: Razor Ramon

    Dolph Ziggler: Mr. Perfect

    R-Truth: Booker T

    Jack Swagger: Kurt Angle

  • you forgot chris masters:billy jack haynes, ric flair:buddy rogers and jack swagger: brock lesner!

  • @rtfuhj Wait hold on i think you got it mixed up.

    Chris Masters:Lex Luger

and I already made comparison to Jack swagger.

  • @45Yankeeclipper Zigigler is more like Ms. Ass

  • @RustySacks Yeah but ziggler is ten times better than Mr. Ass.

  • @45Yankeeclipper I don't know about that bro. He was solid in the ring and solid on the mic. Ziggler is, too, but he's getting a proper push and he's staying injury-free. The thing that sucks about Bad-ass is that he got injured during his big King of the Ring push and while he was feuding with the Rock.

  • @RustySacks Im sorry but Billy Gunn was not that great in the ring. He was great as a tag team wrestler but as a single wrestler he wasn't all that great i cant even remember a great singles match he had. Ziggler however, I never Forget the opening match He and Rey had at Summerslam 2009. Ziggler can at least hang with wrestlers for about 15 to 20 minutes and not get all blown up.

  • @45Yankeeclipper Stone Cold also borrowed heavily from the Road Warriors! The no-nonsense, fearless attitude, the ability to back up every claim, the impatient outbursts, the loner philosophy, and generally running over the competition! I remember the LOD giving opponents the middle finger on national TV, loooong before Austin did! Hawk and Animal also wore the black leather vests with studs first! Howabout the heavy metal entrance music?

Btw, you forgot Ezekial Jackson:Ahmed Johnson

  • @MrJon76 Austin borrowed a little something from every badass in wrestling and put his personailty in it became stone cold. Honestly If I had to say, If You put Arn Anderson, Sandman and Hawk of The road Warriors in a blender you get Stone Cold.

  • @45Yankeeclipper : add to that.

    Buddy Landell: Ric Flair

    CM Punk: Roddy Piper

    Renegade: Ultimate Warrior

    The Giant: Andre The Giant

    Del Rio: JBL

    Usos: Headshrinkers: Islanders

    Morrison: HBK

I guess the list goes on and on.

  • @RSXemperor I know it's an old comment, but, Cena inspired by Dusty Rhodes?! O_O lol

  • @OLee82 How the fuck is Cena inspired by Dusty Rhodes??? Because Dusty's gimmick was he was the son of a plumber and Cena DRESSES LIKE A PLUMBER and his career will go down the drain?? Yeah, some comparison.
