My idea is that Abin Sur's ship intersects Superman's ship before it crashes and gives this Kal-El,who in this story is a teenager instead of a infant,his ring.
@RiptosRage Interesting. I had an idea, not 2 unlike yours, but mine would be a cross between Elseworlds; Kingdom Come & mainstream DC,s BlackestNight. In my deal it would be, what if the Blacest Night came back & things didn't end so well, this time!?! My Justice League team would be familiar & unfamiliar at the same time.
One day I might write & draw it, even if it never sees the light of day.
What if Kal el's ship crash landed in Gotham, he was taken in by Thomas and Martha Wayne. He and Bruce grow up as brothers always fighting and competing with each other for their parents affection. When their parents are murdered, they become enraged. Kal el becomes really guilty because he learns about his powers after their death and Bruce is consumed with vengeance at any cost. They become a deadly crime fighting team, known as The Midnight Sons. Many other heroes rise up to stop them.
Those are some really cool interesting ideas but some of them don't exactly work. For example, Dick Grayson wasn't very angry about his parents' death, he was more sad so Bruce Wayne really created him, not crime so if Batman never met him he'd be normal and The Emerald Archer one is really cool, but it doesn't match ollie's personality, eg in GL Rebirth he could hardly create an arrow construct and he isn't fearless
I have one, We all know that a dying Abin Sur is destenied to meet Hal Jordan, but what would happen if Abin crashed lands in the 1940s and hands Alan Scott his power ring. Making Alan Scott the first human in the Green Lanturn Corps.
And a story I'VE always wanted to write would've been about Golden Age Batman, written just as he was in the Golden Age (purple gloves, guns, and all), but written in a modern style. So what was a cheesy is now a badass noire set in WW2 era.
Eventually, this Batman would confront Superman (also written as he was in the golden age). The rest, i can't really put into words, but I have it all planned in my head.
I agree, I was BLOWN AWAY by Superman: Red Son and it's one of the best Elseworlds stories ever and it should be considered essential Superman reading (it's not canon, but the core-characterization of Superman is there)
Dick becoming a more brutal Batman than Bruce? ...Interesting! o_O
@Deadpoolzilla i have some ideas. what if the joker didn't fell in that pool of asid,what if jason todd never died,what if abin sur didn't crash land not where hal jordin was but lands in gotham city and batman became the green lantern,what if batman created an armor and not just a cap and cowl when he be come batman for the first time,what if batman became mr.freez.
@Deadpoolzilla oh and aslo forgot what if batman[bruce wayne] and catwomen got marreid and i'd created character of my own his name is cyberhawk now the back story behind my character is name jack ricker he was a marine after a missile expoled after a firefight he lost his right leg and his left arm,half of his face and then a science named mark was abiled to safe and was cyborg,then he and mark crated a suit,then took the cyderhawk because the suit resibiled a hawk.
