It still din't work for me, but after i googled again i found the answer on yahoo! answers: "You need to add [Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1 at the TOP of the SkyrimPref.ini that is in your My Games folder (C:\...\My Games\Skyrim), NOT in the installation folder!"

So just copy the -> [Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1 <- and paste that into the folder on the top just above [display].

The person who made this video is stupid. I won't make a video but follow below: 1. locate the skyrimprefs.ini file(in documents/mygames) 2. open it up with notepad 3. hold 'Ctrl' and press 'f' - the search function should come up 4. type in Launcher and press enter. the header: [Launcher](without quote marks) should show up. 5. exit the search menu and UNDER the header copy ad paste: bEnableFileSelection=1 bShowAllResolutions=1 uLastAspectRatio=3 bLoadLooseFiles=1

@demongibbs1 Try changing the skyrimprefs.ini that is located inside your game folder aswell, and if that doesnt work Go to: Drive Letter:\Users\"USERNAME"\AppDa­ta\Local\Skyrim

and make the sure the Skyrim folder doesnt have "Read-Only" ticked

I tried as i guess many other did to put it in my usual Skyrim game adress but didnt work.

You have another "SkyrimPrefs.ini at

"C:\Documents and Settings\"User"\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim.

Change it in there and it should work!

This was a problem for me, and I feel really stupid for not realizing it before. If your using Windows 7, you have to go to "Documents" then "my games". I just kept going to it from my file under C:. I hope this helped you guys out some more.
