  • definitely not Stevie Ray Vaughan

  • Mark Cole is the Guitarist in this song, and the band is called "Charge". Don't know of the singer's name offhand. This is a tribute to SVR and Jimi. Great cover. Unknown name.

  • i think the singing is clapton.. idk im not sure but the guitar is srv for sure

  • That's definitely not SRV singing. The guitar playing could be him, but the sound isn't familiar.

  • where are the lyrics!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • im sure this is by a band called charge, the guitarist is mark cole.

  • by Mark Cole not SRV...

  • Who are you people saying this isn't SRV? This same exact version is on a compilation album I have. Chris93Rock, thanks for posting, don't listen to the internet know it alls!

  • @desertrat79

Thanks, but Im still not sure wether its Srv or someone else, the voice isnt quite the same, andparts of the lead guitar dont really match the other songs Ive heard him play. Althrough an awesome song =D

  • @desertrat79 "take it mark" should be the clue, and the voice is completely different. gimp.

  • you really gotta love Stevie to learn his version of little wing note for almost every note! not bad though, i enjoyed it but he's not SRV and no one is but Stevie. you gotta find your own path but covers and using others licks is always a complement.

  • No, he is not SRV.

  • you dumb asses. this is stevie ray vaughn. i can tell by the guitar style and voice. im actually really good by telling guitarist apart. i also play the vaughn, hendrix, and frusciante style on guitar. trust me, i know. i can tune any guitar to what tune you want it in without even useing a tuner.

  • Whoa. Glad you figured out who it is. Definitely not SRV. Still good, though.

  • I realize you are only 17, but don't you think it would be a good idea to know what you post. It's not SRV or Hendrix on vocals, but it does sound like a SRV version. Where did you get the song?

  • I

    LOOOOOOVEEE

THIS SONG (LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL)* SRV (Y) =)

  • Fool, i's Hendrix 1968! A live concert,

  • @skipsassy1 Um no it's Robin Trower's version.

  • @Gideon6640man Did not see your post. Thanks. At least there is one person here that knows what they are talking about.

  • Fool, i's Hendrix 1968!

  • not SRV dnt insult him xD

  • Oww my teeth !!! (LOL)

  • Great lyrics!!

  • that's not the stevies' voice.

  • @chris93rock remove the video of rename the video. this is not srv, and is not in any shape or form related to him. it does not sound him, it's a pair of shred guitarists doing this as a tribute to hendrix. you are one of the top hits when you type 'srv' into search, and this video is gravely misleading. remove it - thanks a lot!

  • @sinprelic It's Robin Trower Live

  • best version actually

  • 0:02 Definately not SRV

  • your all idiots of course this is stevie.

  • @NellyMor Lol, you're wrong it's Mark Cole.

  • not Stevie.

  • Who its the Lyrics? xD

  • someone who listened to alot of stevie, but not stevie.

  • I did notice the gtr player in this vid missed the right chord in the intro, not like SRV to do that in any instance that i can think of.

  • pink floyd?

  • @jplamae Na man.

  • 7:20 definitely not stevie....

  • This has always been my favorite song, and my favorite version. WHO IS PLAYING THOUGH? Does anyone know? I'm not sure if it's stevie cuz the style seems a little sloppier.

  • For those of you who were wondering, this is "Charge" featuring Mark Cole on guitar.

During the song, you can even hear the singer say "take it Mark".

  • Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I finally found you!!!

I listened this song many years ago!! But when I downloaded from Ares It never said the name of the song and artist. However, I've known for many years It is Little Wing.. but this version I thought I would never listen to it again...

    But here it is! :)

  • This version of little wing is not S.R.V. it played so sloppy!!! Come on I could tell from the first chord that it wasn't Stevie..

  • @Jay7un SLOPPY ??? you must have very high standards

  • Mark cole is very VERY good at sounding like who he is trying to sound like. Of all the versions I've listened to he doesn't sing, and neither does Stievie. Stievie Ray was a absolute master at playing guitar and mixing rock blues and jazz. He would put 13th chords in songs which was uncommon and still is today. Stievie Ray is still the greatest modern-day blues players that ever lived and will forever be,but sadly he did not play because at the end of the chorus the singer says "take it mark"

  • Where is the lyrcs ?

  • That Is Not SRV Because You can Tell From the Singing And because The guitar Playing doesnt Sound Like His Playing So its not SRV But Good cover Anyway.

  • Guitarist's name is Mark Cole. Only reason I don't like him is because it sounds like he practiced this song for a very long time to sound exactly like Vaughan. He doesn't appear to have a style of his own from the sound of this video.

  • this is cool ,..most of it is alright still alright then anything rightnow doesnt matter still awesome!!

  • this is maybe the best version i've heard <3

  • It would not surprise me if this was Stevie, he never plays a song the same way twice. I have a version of him covering this song on his album "The sky is Crying" this is very very close to it. but it does not sound like he is singing.

  • This is an awesome version! Why haven't i found this elsewhere?! Is that Clapton singing though?

  • Este es Stevie....es la misma voz y la misma forma de tocar.

  • Here is mark cove playing Little wing.

    Is not stevie.

    /watch?v=H0jLkbIlEWw

  • This is not Stevie, to prove it at 1:48 the singer say, "take it Mark." This is still an excellent cover of Little Wing.

  • Comment removed

  • This is from G3. Steve Vai, Malmstien & Joe Sat me thinks.

  • Uhhhh,,,, def NOT Stevie.......

  • yep definately not stevie, good player non the less. The tone is pretty far off from Stevie's

  • This could very well be SRV. If you listen to his licks and phrasing it sounds alot like him. I do agree though that his voice does not sound like normal but he could be singing in a different key that normal. Also at 2:10 it sounds like to me that he's bending his third string or g string up a whole step and and I think finnishes with a hammer on and pull off but I'm not totaly sure. Stevie did this aloy like in Texas Flood and other songs.

  • Who cares if it is SRV, or not...

It's a great song whoever is playing it, because it's being played great!

Just listen music for music, not for trivial facts!

  • This is clearly not Stevie. Idk who it is, but it's not Stevie.

  • Damn he was so much hot i miss him :(

  • This is NOT SRV.

  • es que es el tema...es magicamente asombroso¡¡¡¡¡ xXD

  • Its Stevie Ray Vaughan, i'm shure of it.

He won a premium doing this "live" studio recording, wikipedia him, you will see.

  • right at 3:49 all the way to 5:10. thats awesome guitar playing. wish i could get down like that.

  • or could be sebastian bach or brett michaels doing solo stuff

  • sounds kinda like axl rose

  • deffenatly not srv's playing style

  • Sample Accurate is the band. They play many covers

  • ot's not SRV but it's very good, and very close guitar, no vocals

  • at 1:49 he says take it mark ...

  • ive found this on the net before, when i downloaded it it said it was SRV w/ Mark Knopfler from the Dire Straits, but yeah, there's no way that this is SRV, but its a pretty close cover of it....I still like it though

  • This is the band Charge, and the guitarist is Mark Cove. I thought it was SRV too, I dont really have a guitarist ear to really hear the difference lol. I have this version on my ipod. Its an amazing version, I think its my favorite. I just found a SRV to put on my ipod.

  • 1 its not srv my explaination for know its not srv is

    1 rong tone

    2 not heavy enough strings

3 too much distortion about mid way through...

great post though I like the way its played here

as they say jimi and stevie play guitar the best

    peace

  • Not stevie playing.... Can't really explain it but i just know..... definately not him singing :P.... but yeah, he's missing alot of notes that'd make it similar to some of stevie's versions and the guitar sounds too tinny...

  • this is not srv. it is, however, basically the srv version with the hendrix verses thrown in.

  • anyone knows who plays this??? :S

  • i think that different .

    maybe use the another instrument.

  • it obviously not, cos the singer says 'take it mark' suggesting the guitarist is called mark. rip srv

  • too tight for stevie. vocal can,t be either. sorry but good try.

  • no way thats SRV.

  • srv dosent sing in any versions of it

  • its sounds a little like SRV but i doubt is him but i like the cover any way

  • well he didnt write this, jimmy did, but i love it, usualy i listen to the vesion of this that he doesnt sing bec jimmy is better, i just have the music

  • Jimi did write this. Im not sure if vaughan is the cover guy in this video though

  • i meant i like what he did with jimmy's work and i prefer it with lyrics but i give credit to jimmy for coming up with it in the first place but whatever floats you boat lol

  • Ditto, that's not SRV. Tight guitar work.

  • "With Lyrics"?

  • ABSOLUTELY NOT SRV... CONNIE

  • Not even a good cover. No way SRV.
