Thank you for the video Robert - it really is stupid that you become a failure once you go out of business in Holland. It is a great experience that you can use in your next business. It is not only the government, also banks, other companies and the people in general think you are a failure.
In the year 2008, America welcomed 1,052,415 new citizens to this nation with the act of legal immigration, yet that was not good enough for the illegals. America has a path to citizenship, its hard for a reason.
@bobby93macboy I had dinner with Chamillionaire after the Always On event and we ended up at this party with a bunch of geeks/entrepreneurs. Very interesting.
@bobby93macboy I've seen chamillionaire in a couple of other web2.0 startups meetings and other geeks events before. I think he is some sort of investor, who knows? I wouldnt be surprised if he makes a lot of money investing in some of these startups.
@joemeadows75 And your fear of those cases keeps us from letting in the truly brilliant people who can transform our economy. By the way, have you ever talked with some of the people who still speak Spanish here? I have. I work in an agricultural region. Do you really want to go out and pick the crops? I sure don't and am very happy there are immigrants here to do that job.
Perhaps another way to look at the Greencard trap. Educate the best at MIT, then tied with indentured handcuffs to a large tech entity who sponsors H1B to Greencard. 6 yr payback.... Perhaps smarter to staple a Greencard to the Degree certicate....
MR Scoblesier says that immigration is good because a handful of people succeed, is this a joke ???
What about people who don't want to fit in, speak their own language and live among themselves ? What about self governance ? What about the right of people to rule themselves ???
As far as I remember, the founder of eBay is French, not Iranian.
